Saturday, April 30th @5pm We had a reservation for nine and showed up, and everything was ready for us. The atmosphere is... beautiful. We ordered a ton of shareable, which was great communion. I enjoyed all the food, and the waitress was reallyfriendly, but she seemed extremely high. She stopped checking on us, and I couldn’t order more drinks. Never clean off ourtable from the appetizers. The place has the potential to be one of the best, but as of right now, it is considered as one ofthe worst. I’m actually writing this review while sitting here—weird pricing for weird food portions. The Old Fashionedlooked really cool with the smoke but it was not good. It was very sweet and they used small ice cubes. Great vibes, but servicecan be better by a lot, and maybe don’t allow servers to show up high. I will not be back. Read more

North High Street: As a part of Short North Arts District, the North High Street in Columbus is a beautiful street for an... evening / night out in the midst of busy town ! Mostly lined up with the eateries and the entertainment outlets. But, most ofthem have very fine and delicious foods and items. Fireproof Restaurant is one among many. It will certainly be crowded duringwarm days ! Car parking is everywhere metered or city App driven street parking or in a parking lot. Read more

Fireproof was so adorable and it was a really good ambience for our Valentine's date! When we first showed up there was actually... a broken glass under our table but the waiter was really helpful and made sure everything was nice for us. The cheeseboard is somuch food and it is absolutely spectacular. The big slices of toast really help when you're planning to eat tapas. We orderedthe fried chicken and elote (not our favorite) but the wagyu burgers definitely made up for it. Every single bite wasincredible! I also ordered a campfire drink and was a little letdown that my marshmallow did not burn the way it was supposed tobut my margarita was fantastic! Read more

We had a great experience here last night start to finish. We were greeted by a very friendly host. It was his second day on... the job he said (you’re doing great). Michelle was the server that took care of us and she was great as well. I came with 3others and we all shared a bottle of the magnum prisoner red wine (great deal btw… 1.5L for $100). And then because it was 4of us, we shared a large variety of items. We started with the carnitas tostada, panzanella salad and wagyu bone marrow (it waswagyu wednesday!). These 3 were great appetizers… my favorite was the panzanella salad which was just so fresh with the tomatoand mozzarella and the very delicious salted bread cubes. I knew I would like the carnitas though because it was loaded withcilantro (my fave). The bone marrow was delicious as well and also came with that delicious salted bread (and toasted). Adam themanager let us know that the bone marrow comes from a local farm in Mansfield, OH. It’s awesome to see these biggerrestaurants supporting local businesses and farms. Next up were the wagyu dumplings, veggie fried rice, brussels sprout salad, and pork belly. These all had an asian flair to it. I have had the wagyu dumplings before. It’s savory and decadent. Porkbelly was perfectly prepared with the exact right amount of gochujang. Brussels were great with an asian vinaigrette. Fried riceI wasn’t the biggest fan of. It is “veggie” so the protein was egg but felt like this could use more acidity orsavory-ness. For our “entree” type dishes, we got wagyu sliders, elote, sakura skirt steak and artichokes. Wow all of thiswas so good and they actually paired really well together too. The veggie sides had a nice freshness / acidity that paired wellwith the wagyu. The beef was excellent. After trying all these variety items, I have to update my review! I think I ordered thewrong stuff last time. I also noticed some of those items I didn’t care for are no longer on the menu (i.e. squash noodles). Read more
