Good old fashioned American style home cooked meals with friendly and fast service. From breakfast to dinner, all their meals... are good. Their Sunrise breakfast platter hits the spot! Their coffee is always fresh. The servers always come around forrefills on coffee and or water. My husband and I always pass this place and we always say we want to visit. Well, today we decided to visit and we loved it a... lot! It has a very old school feel and even outdated decor and seating but that's what made it so perfect!! It reminded us ofwhen we were kids and when we walked in we seen either the owner or manager, not sure which, sitting down eating and she greetedus while she was eating. For my husband and I, that felt like home, like family! It was not stuffy or bougie, or fancy which wasperfect for us. She even told us that they don't change much which was cool too! The place could use a deep scrub throughout butother than that, it was perfect for us! Good Ole simple breakfast food! We will try lunch next time! ???? Read more
I stopped and had breakfast for the first time on Thursday, May 19, 2022 at approximately 10:00 a.m. Best breakfast that I have... had in a long time. Being retired, I eat breakfast out a couple of times a week at TeeJayes, Scrambler?s Marie?s, or FirstWatch. This was definitely one of my best experiences. Food was great and fast, and service was excellent. I had the eggs,potatoes, bacon, wheat toast, and coffee. Definitely will be going back. Read more
Grill and skillet had been the most consistent little mom and pop place ive been to. Ive been going there for atleast 15 years... and the food is always the same and the service is always quick. The servers always seem as if they are joyed to be at work aswell. Read more

Wasn't happy about the inattentiveness to details is clean dishes. Clearly there was lipstick and stained coffee on the inside... of cups even the second go round. However, gave then a four because I love catching people doing Good. The service, cleanlinessof the place and fluffy packages that you can way without syrup is definitely worth the money. Ordered eye. Opener, 2eggs,hashbrowns, 3 bacon and toast. Got the grits just because and tea. Good atmosphere, ? accessible, family friendly, place isgood casual place for groups, or dining alone.
