Family outing for a birthday (though we did not let staff know, as we are pretty private). A fairly busy Thursday night. We had... a reservation but it didn't look like there was a long wait, if any, had we not. I love their dishes. Great Italian fare. Pastais cooked to perfection. It’s famous Italian restaurant here in Polaris area. I have been here once and I am being vegetarian I only tried salad and... Mojitos. I felt there are less option for vegetarian people. The location is very nice and can be seen from Polaris parkway.There is enough parking here. If you love Italian you should visit. Read more
I was on a mission to try the best meatballs in Columbus and Marcella’s was the first restaurant on my list. I made a... reservation and was seated immediately when we arrived at a table in the bar area. It took a while for us to be greeted but whenthe server finally arrived she explained she was new and to be patient with her. After the minor service delay the remainder ofher performance was flawless. We had the Veal Meatball as an appetizer and we all agreed it was underwhelming. After hearingthat it was one of the “Best In Columbus” I expected more flavor. We ordered the lasagna and the daily special chickenrisotto. The risotto was cooked well and flavorful. My daughter wasn’t too fond of her lasagna and everyone was in agreementthat the food wasn’t really worth the price. I ended the meal with an espresso martini that was delicious! It was a night to get out and try something new and the food of choice was Italian. Our server Neil was awesome! He was very... informative and gave great options for the meal. We had the 3 cheese chicken tortellini shrimp pesto pizza and Spaghetti withmeatball. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is delightful and the old town Italian Winery feel was decadent. I can see why this is a popular place. Recent visit was ok, most of the time it we get good food and great service. Can't... recommend the pizza, but the meat balls and pasta were delicious. Overall, it's worth a try. Read more
