I really really wanted to love this place, however I was unfortunately very disappointed. I enjoyed the Mitchell chopped salad... with fruits and dates. However it was down hill from there. First, I ordered the Australian Lamb Chops well done and was advisedthat it only comes with a sauce. I've had the lamb chops at two of CM other restaurants (The Avenue- Dublin and The Guild) andthey were AMAZING. This lamp chop was charred/burned, bland and really dry. I know I ordered well done, but I didn't expect itto be overcooked with no flavor whatsoever. Second, the dessert. I ordered the carrot cake to go and that was alsodisappointing. I tried my sister's cheesecake and it was not good. I don't think I'll visit here again. I'll stick with TheBarn, The Pearl and The Avenue. Again, I really wanted to love Mitchell's Steakhouse....disappointed. Read more
Beyond terrible service and food. The server was so inept that it seemed like we were on one of those secret gotcha videos where... people are idiots on purpose. My medium steak came as an instruction manual about the various temperatures that meat can beserved. On a gradient..it went from well done at one end to nice and rare at the other. There were some mushrooms which lookedlike they'd been drowned brutally in a bottle of olive oil. My kids had mac and cheese which clearly were in Velveeta sauce.Broccoli sides looked like they came from the fruit ninja game. One star for the sub-par comedy course meal. Really nice food and decor. Service was professional - I had a human as a waiter and not a robot. The only thing that bummed me... out was my girlfriend and I dressed up a bit since the dress code is "business casual" but probably half the people there wereseated without meeting that standard. I'm guessing they loosened up because the restaurant was only about half full at 7 on aSaturday. Overall a nice experience and I'd like to go back in the future for special events. Read more
Mitchell’s Steakhouse serves delectable steaks and sides, and their cocktails and wine list are second to none. It was our... first visit, and we will definitely be back! It was ok. I have had better steaks for the price and the service was a weird experience. There were like 4 different people... that came by to take care of us. Then when we wanted to leave we couldn't find our server. Read more
The food is delicious. We sat at the bar and the service was not great. Very hard to get a drink or place an order. Maybe the... service is better at the tables. The salmon was perfect. We wanted dessert but after waiting for 1/2 hour we gave up and got thecheck. Read more
Went to Mitchell Steakhouse during the Columbus Restaurant Week. The food and service were awesome. Highly recommended..
Amazing experience for a 1st time visit. Only suggestion for those who might consider going in the future. If you are a larger... person like myself, and there are 4 of you, make sure you reserve a 6 person table. This is the only way IMO, you will be ableto sit comfortably and actually enjoy the meal you came to Mitchell's steakhouse for. Read more
