Love this place, when I moved here I thought I would be hard pressed to get decent fish in a landlocked place but they... consistently deliver. Good sushi, excellent fried calamari. A bit overpriced for the quality of ingredients and the size/quantity of pieces in each... order. The atmosphere was a little more club than sushi restaurant. Some patio seating with an overhang for protection. Aconvenient location not too far from the ramps to I-70, and there's ample parking across the street. Read more
I went here with my colleagues while traveling for work and was very disappointed. When we asked to sit outside the hostess had... an attitude about that, however there was plenty of space. Throughout the entire service we were rushed by our waitress. Mindyou, we dining at 7:30. They were not closing anytime soon. I clearly had reservations about my entree but the waitress saw itwas the most expensive and walked away. She never allowed me to ask questions. Meanwhile, she made recommendations and was verysmiley to my colleagues. Everyone at the table felt that this was racial, as I was the only black woman at the table. When Iasked for a sweet potato roll, I got a cold sweet potato with rice. (If you?re a real sushi eater you know that is unacceptableand not how a sweet potato role is prepared.) The food was subpar. The spicy tuna roll had cucumber in it. Weird, butwhatever. Lastly- when the bill came, she handed the POS system to my male colleague immediately. She did not anticipate that Iwas the one paying for the table. She was clearly shocked, and I could tell that she immediately regretted her behavior towardsme. I left her a tip that she didn?t deserve because I have class. However, I will not be back and I won?t recommend anyone tocome here. This is unfortunate because I eat sushi all the time, but I will not support a business where I, or people who looklike me, am tolerated and not accepted. Read more

Love the spicy scallop with melted cheese on top! The bento is always so great too! My new favorite sushi spot!
The restaurant was nice and clean, with an enjoyable atmosphere. The food was good but not the best I have ever had. I would... have given the a 4/5, but when we where there we ordered drinks when we first sat down. They didn't make the drink tell we wherethere for around 20 minutes and then forgot to serve it to use. At the end of our meal the charge was on our recipe I informedour waitress that we never received the drinks and asked if they could be removed. And she was very nice and removed them andapologized, she didn't realize that they never got served to us. I will definitely come back and if the experience is better Iwill definitely edit the post. Sushi tasted great and fresh! The bento boxes did come out before the sushi so we had to wait a bit while others in our party... already got their food. We did have a fairly large sushi order between 3 people so I can understand why that would take longer.Other than that, the service was great so it wasn?t too much of an inconvenience.
