Food was good, hot and areas were clean. To go prices are a bit high though.
After doing a whole day of shopping I decided to take my mom there for lunch hadn't been there in years since I was a kid kind... of reminded me of that old nostalgic feeling of when hometown used to be around or Old country buffet and everybody in my familywill hop in the car on Sundays after church of course pile up in the car and go to the buffet looks like they updated theirmenu for some premium items like ribs and hamburgers and steak as always but we decided to get the buffet it was just okay someof the items on the list that I liked were the fish and the chicken although the chicken was a little bit dry wasn't too badnice and flavorful crispy like and the fish was light and fluffy nice flavor not fried real hard the salad bar was pretty goodmy mom said she like the soup of the day which was chill and she added a slice of meatloaf to it I will say I love their widevariety of desserts the stuffing was pretty good although you can tell it's stove top it is the gravy that they have it is verysalty and a little thick the pizza was dry with no flavor not saucy at all the liver onions was dry like they had been sittingout all day it wasn't until a customer asked them to replace it that they did so the broccoli was overcooked it's supposed to besteamed broccoli it was more like boiled and the nacho cheese sauce is completely disgusting clumpy and thick with no flavor TheEstablishment look like they kept it clean as possible although it does need an update other than that it was just okay Read more
We ordered two steak dinners with salads to go. The French salad dressing has been changed from what they have been using for... years and it ruined our salads. It was AWFUL! When we called and spoke with Brian the manager, he could care less and told usit's just how it is now. Horrible customer service. Lost loyal 30 year customers over $12.35. There's plenty of other steakrestaurants in the area who treat their customers well. Read more
Been awhile since I've been in a Ponderosa and this one reminds me of why... I ordered the Mushroom and Swiss Burger with... seasoned steak fries.. and the buffet.. The Burger was actually decent and the Fries were as well. The staff was anotherhighpoint friendly and attentive. The downside is the buffet literally not worth eating... Very little to choose from andeverything I had was bland or stale from sitting too long... In conclusion if you want to stop in do yourself a favor and justorder from the menu and avoid buffet! Waitress Mimi was great and working very hard. I paid $50 for my wife and myself for a burnt steak with no flavor ( I don?t know... what happened to seasoning!) we will not be going back. Read more

I sure miss Ponderosa.. it was one of my favorite places to eat! Was super excited to find this one on my way through Columbus!
