I ate a delicious "early supper" yesterday [11-3-2022] at Qdoba Mexican Eats, 1956 N. High St., in the University District"... neighborhood of Columbus. I had recently attended a lecture on The Ohio State University campus; my original plan had been toreturn directly home after the lecture had ended and to eat at home; however, the traffic on N. High St. had been "at astandstill" so I decided to eat "on campus" before leaving for home. For the past several months, Qdoba Mexican Eats has beenin the "43201" section of my list of restaurants at which to eat "on behalf of Google Maps." I had decided to eat at QdobaMexican Eats yesterday because that restaurant had been nearly empty at that moment which had meant that I would be able toeasily take some photographs for Google Maps without having to spend any effort making sure that no other customers would appearin those photographs. My food choice for yesterday's supper at Qdoba Mexican Eats had been a "Bowl" with "Grilled Adobo Chickenand Ground Beef, Brown Rice, Black Beans, Three-Cheese Queso, and Cojita Cheese." My meal had been delicious; I am glad that Ihad eaten there. Some may remember that 1956 N. High St. had been the former location of a La Bamba Mexican restaurant that hadbeen there for many years. La Bamba had reportedly sold "Burritos as Big as Your Head" [which I do not believe had actually beentrue but that had been their familiar-to-many advertising slogan]. Many years earlier at 1956 N. High St. had been DiscountRecords that had been at that location during a portion of the 1970s, all of the 1980s, and a portion of the 1990s. I had boughtmany records, during that period of time, at Discount Records. That had been many years before the word "vinyl" had become theword of choice to name that product. If you are in the "University District" neighborhood of Columbus and are looking for somedelicious Mexican food, I strongly recommend Qdoba Mexican Eats. Read more

Another excellent Qdoba with consistent service, generous portions, and a friendly atmosphere. Even when I place an order... minutes to closing, they have never rushed me or people in line and have ensured requests are accurate. Read more

Second time ordering from here, probably the last. Wasn't aware that quesadillas consistently came with very little cheese, none... of which was melted. The meat was tough, the tortillas soggy, and order was missing the side of chips and queso I paid extrafor. Read more
