Reviews for Romeo's Pizza in Columbus, OH
This store is great. Make corrections well follow requests super. On time and early and friendly. Big hustle from staff.
Food is pretty good, though quality seems to have gone down recently. Tonight they missed multiple items on our order. Had to... call multiple times to reach a person. They then forgot that they were supposed to remake the items they missed and ultimatelywe never received them. To the manager's credit, she refunded us and gave us two free pizzas but that was a disaster. Alsodisappointed that several menu options are no longer available. Read more
My new fave. Had the 614 and added sausage. Ordered online and very much enjoyed...delivered hot and fresh. Loved the sauce that... came with it in the cup. Delivery was prompt and within quoted timeframe which is rare on a Saturday night in this area. ???? Read more
Better quality Papa John's style, but tonight's buff chicken pie definitely hit the ground on its side and was still delivered. ... All toppings on one side of the crust, and right side collapsed. Can tell because top.of.the box was covered in sauce andgrease. Traditional sausage and cheese was fine. Agree with some of the other reviews that this place started out muchstronger in Clintonville, and has gone significantly downhill over the past few months. It's about 50/50 if you get good pizzaor a terrible one. Read more
Update: Decided to give them another shot. I understand that sometimes it takes a while to get things running smoothly. Pizza... arrived before the predicted 40 min. That's a plus. However, the pizza was warm, not hot. That's an improvement from the coldpizza I got last time, but still isn't great. The pizza is a tasty sweet sauce that I like a lot. I think I'll probably onlyorder here when I intend to pick it up myself. Delivery is still not great. First experience: Pizza arrived COLD after 70minutes (was projected 45 minutes.) They offered to make me a new one but I declined, because my kids couldn't wait another hourto eat. Hopefully they work through these delivery issues, because the pizza really is tasty. Read more
The mask policy at this location is an absolute joke. I have worked in the service industry my whole life and would never leave... anything but a good review -- except for now. I sat in the curbside spot waiting for my pizza for, like, 20 extra minutes whichin no situation would bother me other than I had to witness every single employee pulling off their mask the second they steppedinto the kitchen. Even when customers were in the store. I will never patronize this business again and will actively work toensure people I know do the same when there are so many businesses doing everything appropriately to support COVID safetystandards. I really love the Great Potato Ranch pizza (potatoes?? yeah, I know...but it *is* really good!) HOWEVER, the last one I ordered,...
the chef forgot the almonds and, had I had that one first, I never would have ordered it again. Yuck! But that was one time outof many really good pizzas. He may have been new. Customer service is efficient and polite, everything is always on time andeveryone *I* saw was wearing a mask.
Had they not been, I would have left the pizza there and called the franchise owner thefollowing day.
No mask, No Custom. Your employer's ability to pay you is worth any minor inconvenience during this pandemic, regardless of your beliefs or lack thereof. The Golden Rule: Treat others the way you want to be treated, expands to: Treat myfamily with the care that you want others to treat yours. I'm certain your Grandma is as proud that you care enough about her towear a mask as I am grateful that you're willing to protect mine. I mean seriously, if people keep dying, there goes the repeatbusiness
I ordered 4 pizzas from here for My Kids and I. There was a Hair (Probably 12 to 18 inches long) Baked into the bottom of the... Crust, of one of the Pizzas. It was spread out across the bottom of 3 slices. All I can say is, Ew. I wonder how many hairs wedidn?t notice Read more
