23 years we have been coming here for lunch, and still a couple of people I see working here from that first time. AUTHENTIC... Japanese food, with a nice menu, prices have gone up a bit but still reasonable $8.99 for a big soba bowl. It is popular and onSaturdays absolutely hammered with people, there will be a line so you might want to eat early or a late lunch. We did not enjoy this restaurant. - tried to ask questions and they couldn't hear so we were basically on our own. -husband... ordered ramen. He loves ramen and was very excited to eat here as he lived in Japan for a year and is always seeking authenticJapanese. --We are on vacation and realized quickly that this place is not a fun or enjoyable place to be.. - he only ate abouthalf of it and I was surprised as he doesn't eat a lot but he always finishes his ramen. He disliked it because of a largeamount of seaweed in there. The menu board does NOT indicate that it is in there. I told him that they would rather give youwhat you want then have an unhappy customer or bad review and that prompted him to go up and ask them about it. -- big mistakeas they proceeded to scold him as they handed him his remade ramen. It kind of ruined that dish for him as well and it justleft a bad taste in our mouth that we were there for a good time and we are being treated like children because they messed upthe dish.... or the menu board by not providing a description and by making it impossible to ask ?s of the representatives. Ibelieve the place is overrated. We had an awesome day at the waterpark and I had potstickers and shrimp and I enjoyed theshrimp but the potstickers were too greasy and not very flavorful. First time I have ever had ramen that wasn't considered cardboard in a plastic bag, and I was impressed! I got the number 1... (grilled chicken) with a side of their hot mixture. The quantity was plenty and tasty. The broth was flavorful and notoverpowering, and the side of their hot mixture was a very nice addition. While it's not a food I would personally go out of myway to get, I would recommend it for the experience and go again with a group. Read more

This was my first real bowl of ramen and it didn't disappoint. I understand why ramen is so popular and I can't wait to visit... again. The broth was the star of the show for me. Perfect and delicious. The veggies all tasted fresh and the kimchi was amazingas well. Highly recommend! Read more

The service here was very friendly and helpful. It can be quite busy most of the time but the staff does their best to get food... out as fast as they can without compromising on quality. The chicken ramen is light and mild but still has a good flavor. Iprefer pork ramen that has a deeper rich flavor. The made from scratch spice is a great addition if you want some additionalheat.
