So conveniently located and nice cozy pub atmosphere but something is terribly wrong. Few customers. A really nice new bartender... who was very attentive but got our carry out order wrong. Attempted to call but no one answers the phone! When we left therewere very few people in the restaurant and multiple staff standing around talking. What was the problem answering the phone?This is not the first time we have have experienced various problems. The kitchen was slow, servers apologizing, orders wrong,rude staff. But, we have attributed it to pandemic problems. This is a Friday night at 7 pm and this place should be bustlingwith people. My first time back in over three years was a great time. Had a tiny misunderstanding with a food item, Denise (Manager) took... care of it immediately, explained what had occurred and replaced with no worries. ..this is a tough one..was ok starting off minus waiting for seating & our food once we got seated for over 20mins. Food was... ok..I'll post receipt. The lady DM was kind & our waiter was cool but he kept forgetting us. I still tipped him even though Ifound out the next day he forgot to give me back my credit card. It really shouldn't surprised me bc he did that throughout theentire time we dined. When I called about it the DM at this location James, didn't even care not one lick! Lol..ughh...must behis best buddies he hired on. And in these times I'm sure they need the help. Anywho..was totally inconvenienced. Hope othercustomers can say much more than I can. This Nails Pub really "kicks"! So kick it up a notch with a well-laid out atmosphere. Easy going to relax with your special... someone. You have GOT to order the clam chowder soup. The chef stirs up an impressive taste. And, thick just like I like it! I ordered the Philly Cheese with swiss...well complimented with mushroom. But, next time, I will ask for an extra slice of swisscooked in. Now, let me tell you about Josilyn....I wrote her name down....in my reminders so I would not misspell.. Gone, now! Her picture is in my list. She is most attentive and anticipates! The last adjective must be earned. Please leave her agenerous cash tip before she prepares your bill. The Old Bag of Nails was a pretty nice pub, my first time visiting one honestly. The atmosphere was modish and I found its... novelty look very interesting. The server was swift and I only waited 15 mins for my take out order. I ordered the pound ofsteamed mussels & jumbo shrimp with garlic bread, which I believe was priced nicely and pretty good to my liking. This place has a good menu, fair prices, and nice ambiance. The experience is with the service. We ate indoor with social... distancing table placement. On a Saturday night, there were few diners. Service was slow and less the stellar. They could notfigure out the TV so we never got to watch what we wanted. I had a fish sandwich and broccoli -- quite good.
