Delicious and reasonable value. We nailed the perfect weather for our anniversary. 70s with the sunset shining into in the 4... seasons room. A bottle of wine, cornbread app (5pieces}, with Ribeye and salmon main courses came to $116 before tip. Definitelyrecommend the skillet beans. Only minus is everything seems heavily buttered (unless you like that :D) On a weeknight thecourtyard was pretty dead, but the atmosphere and music were still fine. No wait and probably no need for reservations at leaston week nights. Would recommend. Read more
The Royce is one of my favorite restaurants. I have been there for lunch/brunch but never for dinner. This was my first time... visiting for dinner and I'm so happy that I did. The chicken pot pie was excellent, and it was the perfect portion size. Thechicken was tender and the flavor was through the roof! My girlfriend got the short rib and really enjoyed it also. We usuallydon't get dessert but we decided to that night. She got the peach cobbler and ice cream, and the peach cobbler was so good! Igot the chocolate chip cookies and the were still warm and soft when they got to the table. Hilariously they came in a cookiejar! They also have several mocktails which I recommend highly if you don't want alcohol. Read more
Drove to Columbus for my sisters birthday and our family dined at ???????????? ???????????????????? to celebrate. Much kudos for... a great experience from another ???????????????????? ???????????????????? ???????????????????????????????? ????????. Forstarters we shared grilled oysters, drop cornbread biscuits, and cast iron cauliflower. For dinner, we ordered sea bass withcouscous and broccolini, creole seafood pasta with salmon, and a Royce burger. Everything was hot and delicious, service wasexceptional as well. The atmosphere of the Royce is amazing love the atmosphere. However, I did not like the steak that I ordered It did not have... flavor in my opinion. The peach cobbler was Great, the biscuits were ok. The oysters was good. I like the macaroni and cheese itwas kind of greasy but it was good. the waitress was friendly. My friend hit me up to go and try out a place we had never been before. The Royce was the choice. We set a reservation for 5:45,... and it was packed. We got seated pretty quickly, and our server came promptly to take our orders. We order some wine and aBlueberry Gin Sour to start. Our appetizers were the Cornbread Drop Biscuits, Philly Stuffed Eggrolls, and Guajillo Glazed PorkBelly. Out of the three, the Biscuits were the best. The pork belly was nice in color but lacking in flavor. The Eggrolls werefreshly cooked, but they lacked the flavors of a Philly Cheese Steak ultimately. The cheese sauce wasn't, in my opinion,bringing anything to the table. We both ordered burgers, which were very tasty with fresh hot fries. Then ended with Patsy'sPeach Cobbler. The ice cream was good, but the actual cobbler wasn't much to talk about. There was more cinnamon flavor thananything else, which kind of left your tongue but tingling. We were seated in an area that felt like it used to be a porch and it was very plain, sterile and loud. Beyond that, we had an... excellent experience here. The server was attentive, knowledgeable and friendly. The cocktails were interesting and delicious.We had the appetizers and loved them all, especially the cauliflower! 8 of us all ordered something different for meals and nonewas disappointed. My husband and I had the most incredible dinner at this restaurant. I took him there for his birthday and the food and service... was excellent! The owner stopped by our table and chatted with us for awhile. He was so kind and surprised us with some freshbaked cookies to give to our babysitter before we left. Justice our waiter did an excellent job too. The food and flavors wereunique and excellent. I had the scallops and my husband had the ribeye and mashed potatoes. Absolutely delicious.
