Great food and beer. I loved the atmosphere too. Server were busy, but we discovered just at the end that they were... under-staffed for the day because some other didn?t show up. Otherwise, everything was good. We got the ?Farmer Burger? that wasthere for the burger week in Columbus and it was great. Also the ?Chicken Pesto sandwich? was very good. First let me say, I'm a huge fan of Zaftig beer. I was excited to make my first visit to the pub/restaurant during Beer &... Burger Week. The food offerings were eclectic, but approachable. We placed our beer and food orders. The service was pleasantand timely as one should expect. However, in comparison to the flavor and high quality of the beer, the food was sub-par andlacking in flavor. One particular item we ordered was brought to us cold, not once, but twice. It was eventually removed fromthe final bill, and the manager was very apologetic. If what we had was indicative of the rest of the menu, then I probablywon't return to this location to dine, but will continue to patronize the primary brewery on the Northside. Zaftig is me and my husband's favorite local brewery! The atmosphere is great, the staff are super friendly and helpful, the... beers are delicious, and the food truck rotation is just a huge plus. One thing we love about Zaftig is that it's got a muchbigger selection of darker and heavier beers available than lots of other breweries that tend to have too many IPAs for ourtaste. Went in for my first visit and had such a great experience! Service was quick and efficient, the Brussels sprouts were so crispy... and flavorful, and their new partnership with Java Central makes the whole experience even better with coffee on their menu. Theplace is set up to bring in friends and family for a great time!! Definitely will be back with more people next time! Read more
The staff was 5 star! The beer and food 4 star. This place was cool and the staff were on their game. The beers are advertised... as high gravity and that they were. Problem is they tasted 'hot'. Just hide that gravity a little better and you will be killer.The hot chicken wasn't even remotely spicy but flavor was nice. Read more
Staff was so so so nice! We got a cheeseburger w fries, a pesto chicken sandwich w fries, the Brussels sprouts and a lavender... cold brew with oat milk and a lavender cold brew with chai tea and majyc mylk that they had on their coffee menu. That chailavender was the best coffee drink I think I?ve ever had wow. So freakin good. The food was perfect and the fries were skinnyfresh cut never had any like them but they were BOMB. whole place is so cute and ez parking all around that block.
