Party of six, we were only allowed to order from the front of the menu. I ordered the Chicken Cesar Sub. One slice of... processed chicken meat, one slice of cheese, some lettuce and sun-dried tomato's, zero seasoning on spongy baguette. Could havehad a foot-long at Subway for under the $10 I paid at the Axe. Friend ordered Pesto and Pea Salad with grilled chicken. Nochicken found anywhere in salad but we were charged $3 extra. Then the bill.... CC Surcharge, $.75? Automatic Gratuity of$19.66 with a line below asking for a further gratuity? Wow, what a waste of time money and effort. First time here. Good meal and great service. Nice family atmosphere. A fair selection of craft beers and 25 bourbons.... Empanadas were a nice surprise. They have a large specialty sandwich menu plus a special during the week, plus 4 home madedinners on the weekend. The dried tomato dip was a very good appetizer. Lovely little pub with nice drafts and yummy sandwiches. Also a very nice upstairs to lounger. Definitely a hidden gem!
