My daughter had her 4th birthday party here on Sunday. I was beyond satisfied with amazing everything went. From the planning... with their back offices to the day of, Bowlero ensured that all my needs were met. Debbie who was our planner on the day of wasbeyond amazing. I had no idea that there would be a decorative setup for my daughters birthday. I was so taken back when Iwalked in and saw how beautiful everything looked. Debbie, Matt (I believe that's his name; he's the manager) & Mike all ensuredeverything that day went without a hitch. The food was amazing!! All my guests were coming up to me saying how good the foodwas and how beautiful everything looked. Thank you Bowerlo of Commack for making my daughters birthday so special. When I say this is the best staff at a bowling alley ITS THE BEST STAFF!!! they are so accommodating and helpful. Even the event... coordinator is so sweet. If you?re going to go bowling in the area this is the place to go. I love everyone front desk waitstaff but Mike at the front stood out to me. Couldn?t tell you how happy we all left. Bowling is an exorbitant rip off for families now, especially here. Party of 6 played 1 game, rented shoes and had 1 pizza,... which was ok, 1 large fries, also ok and 5 tap beers which were good variety and cold and fresh and not too badly priced plustip and cost $185. That is insane. They should have family specials and discounts. Unfortunately so many bowling Allie?s closedso they have limited competition so they get away with it. Easy to get to with plenty of parking. Friendly Helpful staff. Surprisingly good menu for a bowling alley was like a Fridays... with sampler platters wings etc. and was recently made. They get a half a point off for now blue cheese. That?s only because mylady needs blue cheese I hate the stuff. The games were definitely reasonable all in all great experience definitely going back. Fun place and lane were well kept. There is arcades, air hockey and tons of other games there too... it is expensive for... bowling... for a family of 3 to play 2 games t was $60 plus other games/food. it was $150 for an 2 hours. Wish they had cheaperoption, for parents with 4 year old just rolling bowl down kiddies ramp, but it was a wonderful time. Read more

We're not big bowlers, but for some reason our son wanted to mix it up and have his 8th birthday party at a bowling alley. All... the local lanes are dark, dingy and dated - I guess acceptable for hard-core bowlers but not really a party atmosphere. My wifehad a corporate function at another Bowlero location and said it was nice. The Commack location was closest to us, so we had itthere. My expectations for a bowling alley birthday party were pretty low, but I have to say I was very surprised at how mucheffort and attentiveness they provided. The two lanes had a birthday message on the score screens and just behind it, there wasa nice counter set up with food and drinks with his name in lights. The food included in the package was brought out and keptwarm with cleverly hidden sternos (the last thing anyone needs is kids playing with the little cans of blue fire). The placeitself is modern and has good lighting, neon lane lighting and large video screens above the pin area spanning all of the lanesplaying various sporting events. It seems as if this company is trying to attract families and couples to bowling in addition tothe typically dorky serious bowler (light-hearted humor, no offense intended). There happened to be another birthday party and Inoticed they kept the kids parties on one side of the building (with neon lights and accompanied chaos) and saved the other sidefor regular customers and serious bowlers (well-lit and quieter). If you scroll through some other reviews, you'll see the nicebirthday party set-up I mentioned (I actually thought it was set up by the party-thrower but realized this is what they did foreach party). The host, Deb, was very helpful and assisted with gathering the kids names, setting up the scoreboard and bringingout the food. The boy at the counter did a good job of keeping his frustrations under control while dealing with 8 kids pickinga shoe size then handing it back saying it's too big or too small.
