I?ve been going here with my family for many years never had a problem. I don?t leave reviews, but today was just a terrible... experience. I sent back two rolls which were inedible, very fishy. The mgr lady in the front desk area came to my tableyelling at me. Saying she doesn?t make any money on lunch specials. I asked the waitress to bring two other cooked rolls tomake up for the two I sent back. The mgr lady said extra charge for one of the rolls. After going back and forth, I said I?lljust pay for what I ate. So she gave me an a la cart bill. I went up to the front desk cashier area. I asked her to justcharge me for the 2 roll special instead of a la cart. I only ate one roll. But at this point she was still yelling anddisturbing other customers. I asked her to stop yelling at me. I explained to her politely that I come here often. She didn?tcare. She adjusted the bill, I paid and left a generous gratuity for the waitress and left. Never to return again. I liveless then a mile away. 23 years in Commack and never had a experience like this. Shocked. Read more
The inside was beautiful! The servers come super fast, as if they can read my mind. But they don't come too early! Amazing... service I go there as often as I can afford it. The pictures don't do it justice. Read more
Great ambience. Food was good. Tad bit on the pricey side if you consider the price to the portion served, but affordable... (entree range $25-$30). Server was cordial but didn't get the warm friendly vibe. It would a great date night place, but not somuch for a family dinner with kids (solely based on the vibe I felt). But for night away from kids or just friends hanging out,this would be a great place. Read more
Extremely pleasant environment. Very good menu well prepared. Lots of fun and entertainment from the chefs. Food is excellent... with generous portions. Overall a fun place to have a group dinner in a pleasant environment with very good food. Prices arereasonable. Kids love it. There is also a separate bar area for a pleasant drink and separate rooms for private groups. 3.5 For some odd reason, there are 6 sushi places on or off Jericho Trpk between Elwood Rd and Commack Rd. That's gotta be some... sort of per Capita record. And they are all decent. This one is good. We went on an off night, so the half that is Hibachi wasempty - we did not have to endure the noise and perpetual birthday gongs. Sushi was good. Read more
