Our family had a positive experience with takeout at Sushi Wara. The service was fast, and friendly. The sashimi was done well,... taste, texture, and portions. Maki was on par with other quality sushi restaurants, and the special rolls were great (rainbowrolls tell a lot about an establishment, and this one was very satisfying). Gyoza was also good, I?m told. Finally, there is wasattention to little details, like crisp ginger and cucumber flowers. The website was easy to use for online orders, my onlysuggestion is that it would be ideal to avoid formal registration (eg. a guest option or no need to register at all would bebetter). BEST IN THE VALLEY! My partner and I ate at Sushi Wara yesterday and the service was outstanding, the food delicious, and... generally, it was a vibe. The staff was so sweet, polite and friendly, like they value their customers like family. The chickenyakisoba was amazing, so flavourful and the noodles were chewy and caramelized. The gyoza was the best we've had yet, and trustme, we've had a LOT of gyoza at many different restaurants across BC. Great first time experience with sushi wara, we came in and they are crazy busy so they took our contacts and advised us to come... back because there is 30mins wait, but after 5mins of waiting they texted us that seat is already available. At Sushi Wara you will enjoy an authentic Japanese experience. I went there twice already and I enjoyed every visit. The chefs... use high quality ingredients, the fish is so fresh and tasty. The menu is full of goodies! The service is top notch. And yes,they offer the wild sockeye salmon. I highly recommend Sushi Wara for anybody looking for the real Japanese sushi experience. Read more
