Don't waste your time! RUDE service! We were told that chips and salsa came free with a dinner. But that refills of the chips... and salsa were at a charge (menu price says $5) My husband and I spilt a dinner and when the bill came $5 was charged for thechips and salsa, that the waitress said were included with a dinner....NEVER was it said that each person had to buy a dinner.And we DID NOT have any refills. When asked about this, the two women were very rude and argumentative... even accused us ofwanting free food! WHAT a JOKE! My husband and I dine out often and always leave a nice tip for good service, but when we arelied to and argued with about what our waitress told us, that's crazy! This was our 1st time eating here and definitely ourLAST!!! Oh and the tip we were going to leave for crummy service.. that went back in my pocket, you can take the $5 you overcharged us and consider that your tip!! Read more

Birria tacos were delicious. Perfect so yummy. Rice and beans tasted fresh , hot and homemade. Was surprised how good the rice... and beans were. My husband got barbacoa tacos. He was very pleased with his tacos also. Will definitely be back because birriaand barbacoa is hard to find and that?s our favorite. Read more
They set a pick up time 20 minutes after order is placed but then make you wait inside the restaurant for another 20 minutes... before they ever give you your order. This was a small $8 order with only 2 small items and we were still made to wait anadditional 20 minutes after the original pick up time. We understand lack of staff but incorporate that into pick up times soyour customers are not wasting double the time to pick up. The elote was good and we enjoyed it but the horrible 40 minute waithindered our overall experience. Read more
Although there was a sign warning about a staff shortage...we were seated promptly, ordered drinks, & they were brought out... right away. We ordered & were told it would be a few minutes, would we want an appetizer on them & we had chips & salsa. Ourserver was checking on us often & updating us on our order, while constantly serving a ton of to-go orders! When our order didarrive, the plates were heaping full, pleasing to the eye, & smelled delicious! The taste did not disappoint, either! My husbandhad the Wet Burrito which was so huge, he had to take 1/2 home! I had the fantastic Steak Fajitas! The tortilla's tastedhomemade, were hot & fresh! The steaming hot skillet was heaping full of flavorful Steak, green & red peppers & onions! It camewith delicious beans, rice, lettuce & tomatoes. I had to take more than 1/2 of my dinner home! This little Restaurant is ahidden gem on Alpine! Huge Portions, Delicious, Authentic, Big Selections all for a decent price served with Beautiful FriendlySmiles! You Should Try This Place! Everything we ordered was hot, fresh, and high-quality! The chorizo queso dip was tasty and unique with a crispy bottom on the... skillet. The torta de Milanese was amazing.
