The food completely sucked there. Ordered Jäger schnitzel. The side food - the red cabbage was the worst ever cabbage I?ve... eaten. I?m not kidding. It was bad. It was suppose to be marinated and then stewed but it had zero taste, zero! Same as theschnitzel. No taste. The German nudeln or white fried noodles (side dish) was over fried with extra butter and the cook addedchopped sausage which I think was completely unnecessary to do. I tried half of schnitzel at home and it left bad taste in mymouth. The cook came out of the kitchen wearing dirty silk shorts ripped with hole showing. Cooks suppose to wear white rope orwhite jacket but this guy didn?t look like a cook at all. And all this under new management??? What are they thinking???!!! Iwon?t come back. Read more

The bean soup was pretty tasty. The Bavarian Chicken was big enough for 2 portions. The chicken was juicy with a nice crunch but... also bland. The potato salad had more seasoning. A side of mushroom sauce was a nice addition to the chicken. My friend orderedthe Jaeger Schnitzel. He finished the 2 patties and the cabbage, but wasnt a fan of the bland spaetzle. Hes been there a handfulof times and said, "It used to be better." Disappointed to learn that dessert also isnt an option during the week. Read more

My wife and I had seen DJ's Bistro in a little shopping center years ago when our laundry machine was broken and we were using... the laundromat in the same shopping center and had wanted to try it. We finally tried it this weekend and were very happy withthe experience. It definitely feels like a local spot for locals, and the staff really takes care of everyone like they arefamily. The food was excellent, was lucky enough to have the half duck special, and my wife's Jaeger Schnitzel was very generousin portion. It's a smaller place, and they only have room for three taps, but they had 3 good draughts on and a fair amount ofbottles, in addition to having the standard Underberg. Definitely recommend the place and hoping to go again. Read more

Great to find a German restaurant in this area. I haven't been in the area in over 1 1/2 years and the staff recognized me right... away and greated me warmly. Always one of the first dinners I have when I'm in town working. Read more

Authentic Euro food a long with a mainly Euro crowd. Never fails on quanity and quality of food. Before the pandemic it was a... great date night place or just to grab a beer joint. But now more than ever we must support local business. Otherwise they won'tbe there when we need them. Jerry the owner is a good guy and he needs people to get the munchies and order take out food. Please do it and I promise you will not be disappointed Read more

From the times I had this place referred by Yelp it turned out to be a slight disappointment food and service wise. Came here on... Friday night and got a nice table in the corner. Dining hal is small and has only about 11 tables + bar and outside table.Single person servicing the whole place is definitely it enough. We had to wait and experienced ?hold on a sec? looking atsomeone?s back few times till other tables left. Recommended Hungarian Goulash was very tender, however so over salted that hadto leave it at the plate. German Bratwurst with potato salad on the other hand was mild sausage, nothing to stand out from withregular potato salad (why European?). Check Pilsner on tab was on the bitter side. Overall place got marked that ?Been there?,however one time deal. Read more

We were really looking forward to this place since we were from out of town. Decided to try this place but the food was quite... bland and under seasoned. In comparison to Esthers German Bakery in MV, their schnitzel was not very flavorful and the breadingwas falling off too. The portion was very generous to feed two but not the best schnitzel I ever had. Their food looks veryphotogenic though. Read more
