This was our first visit but not our last, we tried the Nica sampler plate it gave us a little taste of everything. The meats... were flavorful and tender (the pork was my favorite) the plantains were delicious and the flautas or tacos had a great flavor!Thank you for a great first time lunch! We were walking by and saw the sign and decided to come in for an appetizer. We got the flautas and tamal de puerco to eat and a... mango-lime drink. I've never had Nicaraguan food before so I have nothing to compare it to in terms of it being authentic BUT itwas delicious! We will definitely be back again. Food came pretty fast and prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back totry more food. The tamal was huge so that was nice had left overs for sure. Also the waitress mentioned they sell beer fromlocal breweries that are owned by Latinx people so that was a nice touch, the selection was small but definitely curated becauseit all sounded yummy! I ordered a vigoron and they didn?t have the right ingredients! The chicharron were pieces of fat and were not crunchy the way... they prepare it in Nicaragua and the salad mix hardly had any tomatoes ! Read more

I came here a couple months ago. I really enjoyed my experience here. For this place being in California, the food was close to... Nicaraguan food that you can get in Miami. My only comment was that at the time I ordered Cacao, it almost tasted like pinolilloinstead. Luckily I enjoy pinolillo as well. Other than that, the service was great! Would recommend and come back!
