Turns out I had lunch here. The verdict is as with most places now it feels overpriced. But than again Sushi has never been a... cheap. You pay for what you get. So my anticipation was for quality raw fish. With that being said the Sashimi was quite good anddid exceed my expectation. Just would have loved maybe one more type of fish for the price. The sides included salad soup andtempura. All were about the norm for a sushi outfit. Read more

Came here for lunch on a Friday around 12:15. We were seated immediately and ordered quickly, but waited over 10 minutes for... water and almost 30 minutes for our food after we ordered. Didn?t seem like they had enough wait staff for the number of peoplein the restaurant. When my wife asked for a fork when her meal finally came, it took several minutes because other tables keptasking for other things. I ordered a rainbow roll and a hanabi 1 roll. Fish was a bit rubbery and the crab meat filling tasteda bit too fishy for my tastes. Didn?t finish the rainbow roll which is unusual for me. Nice ambience and decor saved thisplace from an even lower rating but they should really look at the quality of their fish or maybe their storage practices tokeep things more fresh tasting. Very nice atmosphere, friendly staff and fast service, we ordered ozora combo, sashimi was very fresh, it came with deep fried... vegetable tempura and they were crispy and delicious. Combo also came with white rice, miso soup and green salad, the saladdressing was unique. Portions were decent, also ordered Hea dup bup (mixed vegetables with rice, fish eggs and cubed sashimi)was very tasty. Love the spicy red pepper sauce! Read more

Alright folks, I'm giving an updated review because the quality has gone down some. I believe the restaurant has been so busy... they cannot keep up the quality at this point. This place is good no doubt but scoring based on quality of the food I recentlyhad knocked it down a few stars sadly. Toro was not the quality expected, chewy. Salmon, lean cut and fishy which indicatespoor quality. Uni was fantastic as was the Hamachi and Ikura Nigiri. I didn't bother taking a picture of it but had the spicyteriyaki chicken...not good avoid it maybe they should remove altogether. Service was good despite how busy it was, but wasn'tpersonable. Meaning multiple people checked on me and didn't know where I was with my meal. Read more

The most delicious unagi handroll I've had in the East Bay Area so far. Well prepared!...Their menu is more expansive than a lot... other sushi/Japanese restaurants but the sushi chefs are not Japanese. The nade wast tasty and huge so order 1 for 2 people ifyou are not a big eater. The Tako sunomono was fresh and a great appetizer to start off the meal. I gave them 3 stars because Iwould have prefered it if they hired a Japanese sushi chef, made better tempura, and also kept the bathroom a bit cleaner Read more

Highly recommend this place to any sushi lovers! Amazing sushi, fast and friendly service and an authentic Japanese inspired... atmosphere that feels expertly executed. My girlfriend and I were pleasantly surprised to find Korean sushi chefs working thebar. We had just returned from Korea a few months ago and it was a nice surprise to practice some of our Korean. Our rolls cameout almost as soon as we ordered. We were seated at the bar, so I?m not sure if that was the reason. Maybe, the chefs reallyappreciated that we spoke Korean! I?ve had a lot of sushi in my lifetime both in the States and in Japan and Korea. Ozora doessushi in a more Americanized way but believe me, it?s way BETTER! We tried the Chuck Norris roll, the Tammy Tammy and the BayView roll. All of them were drizzled with sauce perfection and hit the spot! Read more
