Not one to complain but the past 3 visits they messed up my food. I ordered my sub they got it wrong in multiple ways. Called in... again they said they would fix it. Get back home to find out they forgot the mayo and didnt toast my sub. I told them exactlywhat I wanted twice and they still got it wrong. Food isnt bad but its never right! About 10 years ago, I went to a D'Angelos in OH and thought the bread was too dense and never went back again. Today, I figured... I'd give them another try, in Concord. To my surprise, the bread was comparatively light and pleasant. I ordered a mediumItalian sub, toasted. It was good; I could taste the extra virgin olive oil that was used. The sub was reasonably priced atabout 10 bucks. When I asked for a cup for water, I was told that they didn't have anything like that but they had a fridgewith drinks in it. I picked out an unsweetened ice tea, probably 12 or 16 oz. It rung up to over 4 dollars. That kind ofprice was an unexpected and unwelcome surprise. My wife, granddaughter and I had such a pleasant experience we felt compelled to write a review. The sandwiches were terrific... and tasted great. The staff were very helpful and polite. Super clean store. Polite friendly staff. Sandwich made correctly to order as well as made neatly as if it was to be compared... to a photo unlike a sloppy McDonald's sandwich that is thrown together looking nothing like the advertised product. But, pleasebring back the Roast Beef! Read more
