We arrived just before 11 am and the wait to be seated wasn't too long, the staff was very friendly and pleasent, once we were... seated we were brought our drinks almost right away and we ordered our food, our food came out in less then 15 minutes and wasabsolutely delish, couldn't ask for anything any better, the waitress came to our table twice asking if we need anything. I givethis restaurant a five star rating and believe me I've been to a lot of restaurants that don't fit this description. Thank youfriendly,s for your impeccable service we will be back. Read more
As always a wonderful experience but tonight seems to have been very special. As always per usual I got my usual food my husband... got a new sandwich not only from when we 1st sat down to when we got our plates was about 10 minutes total. I find this highlyExceptional considering I spent 5 minutes and drive-through at McDonald's recently which is supposed to be a fast foodrestaurant. Our waitress, Angel from Concord NH location, Was nothing less than pleasant, sociable, And professional nevermind speedy. I'd give this location a 10 star if I could!!!!!! Read more
Service was great. The food was pretty good, I ordered an omelet but it was too salty for my taste. Solid fare, and other than... the high sodium, it's a good selection for a quick meal. The restaurant was clean, and the staff was very nice. Portions arelarge. I am fussy about too much sodium so please understand my take. Others may find it perfect. Read more
There are not many Friendly's left around but my daughter enjoys a treat with dinner once in a while. So when we saw this... location, we stopped in for some food and ice cream. The service was good and the wait was little. Though I enjoyed the speed ofservice, I have to admit my food was not good at all. I just had to order the classic lobster roll, and I know to not besurprised by what I get considering the price. Just as I expected, a small roll with more celery and lettuce fillers thanlobster and honestly it was fine. Biting into the food the lobster roll and the lobster was still frozen in the middle and notproperly tempered. This location was roughly an hour away from my home and I had to pull over to a store before even gettinghome because my stomach was so upset. Very disappointed in how ill I became directly after leaving the restaurant and into thenight. It was the only thing I ate in several hours. I know people are short staffed but food safety should be a top priorityalways. I think my days of visiting Friendly's has finally come to an end. Read more
Amazing dessert options! Perfect cold treat for a hot day!
This was my first time inside a Friendly's restaurant. Their welcome sign made me smile, and take a picture of it :) I am glad... I did have ice cream at the end - probably the first time I have been served an icecream cone on a silver dish! It seemed likemost of the menu was made up of new items. My group discussed the perils of trying something new, but I decided I just had totry the cheese skirt burger! When I told our server that was what I wanted, she said "There is a lot in that burger, are yousure you like everything in it?" I had looked at the list, but was glad she asked, I told her I liked everything but thethousand island dressing and she said they would remove that. As a cheese lover, this burger was everything I hoped it would bebased on the picture in the menu. And I would recommend it - but be sure to check if there are any toppings you want to haveremoved. Oh, and if you love pickles, like me, ask for extra. The burger came out with only one medium sized pickle slice on theburger and I wished I had more. For my icecream cone I got a single scoop of butter crunch. It seemed more like a double scoopto me so I am glad I went with the smaller size! Read more
Truly a disappointing dinner for my family. We ordered delivery because we had been sick and this sounded great instead of... having to cook and clean up. The usually amazing honey barbecue chicken supermelt was flat, misshapen, thrown togethercarelessly, and barely even wrapped. All the food was cold, but I can look past that because it was a busy night for deliveriesand we did have a long wait. The All American Burger, on the other hand, was undercooked, like red on the inside, and myteenage son who can eat just about anything, couldn?t even eat this. He said it was nasty, tasted weird, and was ?by far theworst hamburger he?d ever eaten.? I understand that some people prefer their burgers this way, but we weren?t asked how wewanted it cooked, and this is never what we get when we order a burger. If we had been asked, we would have requested well done.This clearly isn?t. There to go bags were just so carelessly packed, heavy things on top of sandwiches, wrappers half off. Itmade no sense. I get that restaurants and the workforce in general is suffering right now, but this is just not okay. I?mhearing all over town how bad service has gotten at this Friendly?s lately. Had the best new server Jess. She was attentive and did her job perfectly with a smile. As a veggie-curious diner I was pleased... Gardien and Impossible (+$1.50) burgers were available and well prepared. Got to knock off a star or 2 for the understaffedlocation and general decor, but I'll be back. Read more
