First time getting food from here and was not a pleasant experience. When I came in I communicated to one of the staff I wanted... to place an order to go. She told me to give her a second and walked away. Literally eight minutes later a couple comes inafter me and a different staff members(looked like manager) darts to the waiting area to seat this couple. All before tending tome. I had to make it known I was clearly there before them. He sssured me he would be right back. I should have left then, but Iwas exhausted after driving from Alabama. A few minutes later someone finally comes to take my order and seemed irritated byme. This was not a great feeling. I couldn?t help but wonder if all this had something to do with how I looked! Also the foodwas not great. I would rate this place a two and suggest only eating from here if you came for the drinks or have never hadauthentic Mexican food. Food is horrible. First I ordered the barria tacos. What I was served were certainly NOT was barria tacos are supposed to look... like. The server offered to take it back and bring something else. I asked for fajitas (can't go wrong with fajitas) WRONG! Thechicken was dry, the bell peppers were uncooked. I had to ask for cheese. First visit friendly staff. The salsa is pretty good. Chicken taco was dry and I was never asked if I wanted a soft or hard... shell- I guess I should have specified. The tortilla soup?? the tortilla strips had been in the broth to long, lots of chickenso that was nice. Personal I found it lacking any depth or the complex flavors normally found. It came out without the pico nolime slice. My son had the lunch burrito it also so lacking in flavor that he was pouring salsa on it and he normally doesn?tdo that. It used to be a good place but not anymore. Waiter/ Server took wrong order so had to place order again. Chips were bitter too.... On Friday evening surprisingly had very less crowd. And wait time to serve the food was more than 30 mins. Definitely not comingagain Read more
My friend and I stopped in on Friday evening to have a celebratory drink. The staff was very friendly and the Margarita was huge... and tasty. The food came out super fast, less than 10 mins. It's not the best Mexican food I've had in Charlotte. I honestlywould just stick with getting the chips and salsa with a cocktail. Read more
Queso was good, I got the Baja Fish Tacos and they were good, but the rice was cold and kinda flavorless. But the margarita... pitcher was delicious, we had strawberry, they definitely water it down though. Read more
We were traveling and decided to try this restaurant based on the reviews. We were disappointed with the taste of the food. My... husband tried the steak dinner and it came with a giant pepper on top of it. He doesn?t eat spicy food so he didn?t expect tosee it on his steak and he didn?t want to waste the food so he went on and ate it. I ordered the fajitas with different types ofmeat, but it was overcooked with some of the meat burnt. The customer service was good, but not sure if we will return. Read more
I have no words. I found plastic in my quesadilla. I know it was plastic not cheese because I felt the material of it and... recognized it as being plastic. I love this place and I come here at least once a month. I asked for it to be taken off my billand she only gave me a discount. The waitress Karoline was very nasty. I even talked to Ruben the manager and he tried todiminish my experience. Very disappointed. I will be disputing the charges! Read more
