Hadn't been here for a couple of years for no particular reason, decided to give it another try and was very impressed. Dining... room was spotless and entire staff was busy working and appeared to take pride in their job and good customer service.Everything was delicious but the standard double steak burger was the star of the show. I'm personally not a fan of Vienna Beefhot dogs, or I would have liked the dogs more. Tristan was friendly and helpful in explaining the menu. I met friends here to grab a bite to eat earlier today. The restaurant was clean. We were greeted when we came in. Our food was... ready not long after we placed our order. The food was hot but not so hot that we couldn't enjoy right away. I ordered thedouble patty melt with grilled onions. I didn't realize it was made on rye bread. I was pleasantly surprised when I took thefirst bite. A few employees came by to see if we were ok. The only drawback: ants. There was 1 on the table & 2 on the wall notlong after we sat down. By the time we were leaving, there were 6 or 7 on the table & a few on the wall. If you zoom in on thetabletop picture, the reddish brown you see are ants. The ones on the wall moved right before I took the picture. The dark spotunder the window sill is an ant. They're fire ants. I know it's been unseasonably warm lately, but if that many ants were atour table, I'm sure there are plenty more at the restaurant. This issue was the only reason I didn't give 4 stars. I almostforgot. I ordered a mini turtle sundae to go. I was supposed to go & get it, but the young man who took my order was kind enoughto bring it to me. He may have forgotten that it was to go. This place is always great. Good staff and great food and ice cream. Barbara is always so nice to the kids getting them their... free ice creams, etc. Clean atmosphere and general easy access (as easy as you can get near the mall at least)! Good place ifyou want burgers and fries. Read more
