Drove 40 minutes to celebrate my son's birthday and it was worth it. For a Saturday night, it was busy but not overwhelming. ... Place was decorated for Halloween and the staff was also in costumes. I love authentic Cuban food and this restaurant serves some of the best I’ve ever had. Besides the ambiance being so intimate... and peaceful, the food and drinks are AMAZING and the staff is A1. The server made great recommendations, checked on usregularly without us feeling bombarded and even informed us that on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays they have music and it getspacked, so reservations are recommended. This was the first time here for me, my wife and our 2 friends that joined us. I took my wife here for her birthday and I have... to say that we were extremely pleased by not only the food, music, atmosphere, but our waitress, Michelle was one of the mostattentive people I have ever had the pleasure of encountering. She made sure that our table was satisfied to the fullest fromthe food, our regular drinks and of course our alcoholic ones as well. She was such a pleasure. My wife and I hope that we gether again. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves really good food, music and a pleasant atmosphere allaround. If you want authentic and traditional Cuban foods or feel like you visited Miami, then this is a great spot to go. Live music on... Friday’s (and I believe Saturday’s). The food was traditional Cuban fare and delicious as can be. We live an hour away, andit is worth the drive. I highly recommend you try it. But, if this is your first time visiting, there is no street facingsignage, the restaurant is at the far end of a little mini mall that is almost invisible because there is absolutely no signage,just an address. First time diner. Service was good. Tried their competition burger.(During the month of March, local restaurants in Cabarrus... county participate in a "Burger of the Year Contest." Havana Carolina's burger was pretty good. Fries were average. Thetraditional margarita, on the rocks, was really good. The after dinner cup of Cuban coffee was great. Wow just wow!! I was completely blown away with my first experience here. Food was absolutely AMAZING! So flavorful and... authentic! I seriously can’t rave abt it enough!
