4.5 stars This is definitely the best bagel I?ve had so far in the greater/CLT area. I got a bacon egg & cheese on a salt... bagel. The be&c was excellent! the bagel texture is authentic, chewy NYC style, not the soft kind you find at Einstein orBreugger?s. Only knocking half a star because this salt bagel was truly the saltiest salt bagel I?ve ever had and I love saltbagels. Knock half off the top and it would have been perfect. Food Quality was great. Fast Friendly service. Portion size would have been adequate if it wasn't $34 for 2 bagels. $14 is... already way too much but then your charged for any and everything you change. I still recommend eating here. Just be prepared tospend more than you should. Read more
When I moved to the area, I was sad to find there wasn?t a lot of options for good bagels so I was so excited to try Mike?s... Deli. We were not disappointed! I usually just get an egg everything bagel with lox spread and it?s so good. My husband got abagel sandwich and he said it was tasty too. This was our first in person visit. I had their 3 egg omelet w/cheese, avocado, and bacon with an everything bagel and coffee.... My companion had their breakfast platter: eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns. Both meals were very delicious. Also purchasedhalf dozen fresh bagels and half pound of peach cream cheese. This place has gone down terribly. First off I drove an hour from my home to this deli on my way to great wolf lodge and they... told me they turn the grill off 30 to 45 minutes before closing. Who does that? I was excited for a Bacon Egg n Cheese. Thelady told me she could be bacon over egg salad and give that to me. ????.. We decided to do breakfast the next day and door dashit. They screwed up every order we made. 11 items ordered and not a single one came in correctly. I use to recommend this placebut now I will tell everyone I know that this place is trash and terribly managed. Employees wanting to close the grill earlyand not getting orders right.
