4.5 stars This is definitely the best bagel I?ve had so far in the greater/CLT area. I got a bacon egg & cheese on a salt... bagel. The be&c was excellent! the bagel texture is authentic, chewy NYC style, not the soft kind you find at Einstein orBreugger?s. Only knocking half a star because this salt bagel was truly the saltiest salt bagel I?ve ever had and I love saltbagels. Knock half off the top and it would have been perfect. Food Quality was great. Fast Friendly service. Portion size would have been adequate if it wasn't $34 for 2 bagels. $14 is... already way too much but then your charged for any and everything you change. I still recommend eating here. Just be prepared tospend more than you should. Read more
When I moved to the area, I was sad to find there wasn?t a lot of options for good bagels so I was so excited to try Mike?s... Deli. We were not disappointed! I usually just get an egg everything bagel with lox spread and it?s so good. My husband got abagel sandwich and he said it was tasty too. I try to go when it?s not super busy because they can get kind of backed up,especially on Sunday mornings. Read more
This was our first in person visit. I had their 3 egg omelet w/cheese, avocado, and bacon with an everything bagel and coffee.... My companion had their breakfast platter: eggs, bacon, sausage, hash browns. Both meals were very delicious. Also purchasedhalf dozen fresh bagels and half pound of peach cream cheese. This place use to be a 5 for me because the sandwiches reminded me so much of the bodega sandwiches in NY. But the last two... times I?ve gone they?re just not the same. Today was there worse yet, how my husband orders a ham and cheese with lettuce andgets a sandwich with just ham in it. Very disappointed not coming here again. Read more
I wanted to leave 5 stars because the food was oh so good but the service was not. Tell the girl taking orders she won?t have to... be so mad because I won?t be returning anytime soon. If serving people makes you so angry then maybe you should seek otheremployment. After being ignored in favor of whatever was on her phone, the amount of eye rolls and huff and puffs under herbreath were unnecessary. Always seen the sign to this place on I 85! But recently was in the area and was looking for brunch and thought about the sign... on the highway. I have visited this bagel shop a few times now and I am very pleased by service and quality of food. THEVOICEMAIL GETS ME EVERYTIME!!!! I highly recommend you stop by if the phone line is busy! Usually like to order my food before Ishow up but if I have to go inside to order I don?t mind service is fast. They have a wide range of options on their chalkboardmenu or you can just tell them what you would like and customize to your liking! This place has gone down terribly. First off I drove an hour from my home to this deli on my way to great wolf lodge and they... told me they turn the grill off 30 to 45 minutes before closing. Who does that? I was excited for a Bacon Egg n Cheese. Thelady told me she could be bacon over egg salad and give that to me. ????.. We decided to do breakfast the next day and door dashit. They screwed up every order we made. 11 items ordered and not a single one came in correctly. I use to recommend this placebut now I will tell everyone I know that this place is trash and terribly managed. Employees wanting to close the grill earlyand not getting orders right.
