This place is so much better after placing the kiosks. Food is always good (wish they didn?t get rid of the garlic fries... though). We dined in today and I will say I like the positive atmosphere. I hate that the whole chain went to kiosks, but at least it means that they have faster service now. We love coming to this... location and this was the best the food has ever been. We especially appreciated the outdoor seating being available so we couldcome with our dog. We can't wait for our next trip. Read more
We ate at the Concord Mills, North Carolina restaurant. The kiosk ordering is easy, convenient and fast! We had steakburgers,... fries and a chocolate shake. EXCELLENT!! We will definitely go back the next time we're in Charlotte. Read more

I asked a simple question on what temperatures are the burgers cooked, I told them I usually like mine well. I was cut off by... another person than the original person taking my order. The guy said we cook it to Steak and Shake standards. I ask what'sthat and he fails to explain. He never told me the temperature. But instead told me they're cooked how all the burger placescook them. Huh? So what are the standards, because he, whom happened to be the manager "Scott" who was on evening shift on6/30/22, didn't answer my question and told me didn't understand what the problem was. Well...., the issue is for the smartguy, had I known what the "Steak n Shake" standards of cooking were, I wouldn't have asked the question in the first place. "Girls Brunch" with the little one. It was our first time here. The food was super fresh!!!!! OMG that melted cheese!! Lol The... kiosk was a new thing for me. I'm thankful to the SM who was nice and patient. He was moving non stop making sure the storestayed clean. And the store is VERY clean by the way. The wait was nonexistent on a late Saturday afternoon. The ordering system changed to you order from a kiosk and pay which is... refreshing as it streamlines the ordering and paying. There is a lot less congestion in the front compared to the previouspayment method. You now take your receipt with the order number at the top and your order number will be called and you pick upyour food at the counter. Great job to rethink the ordering, payment processing, and order pickup. . Read more
I went through the drive thru and Riley was the person who helped me. He repeated my order back to me and my order was correct.... He has such a pleasant cheery customer service voice and he was very nice! It is rare to see customer service as good as his!Make him employee of the year! Read more
