Very generous portions and delicious food! I would highly recommend this spot for Japanese katsu! Even though the place was... busy, we were seated quickly and the service was great. Read more

Friendly host and waiter. Food arrived in about 15 minutes and was good. Takoyaki and the Gold and Silver Katsu was... tasty. Although, I would of liked it if the portion sizes could be slightly larger. Overall, I would recommend this restaurantto others. Read more

Food - One of the tastiest Asian Fusion and Japanese Food out there. I always get their Carbonara Udon! My family and friends... often get food here because they know it's good. Service - Their staff is professional and friendly! They even drew a crab onmy takeout. So cute. Kudos to your people! They offer take out and delivery through food apps. They also have a small discountif you pay cash and do pick up. Decor - Few to no seating as of August 2022. They have a small place, but it's clean and have anice interior. Read more

Katsuya specializes in Japanese tonkatsu: deep-fried breaded pork loin accompanied by house sauce, coleslaw & rice. Part of its... popularity is the fusion sauce options. House sauce is reminiscent of a fruity Worcestershire sauce, complementing therelatively light seasoning on the crispy pork loin cuts. Other options include curry, carbonara & chili sauces. I do wish theirtonkatsu had more flavour on its own. Brick cheese katsu elevated the standard dish up a notch with cheddar & mozzarellastuffed in the tonkatsu. For takeout, it was disappointing that the brick cheese katsu was snapped in the middle rather than besplit into gold & silver halves. Takeout Katsu plates were well-packed, and also came with miso soup & salad. Deep-friedtakoyaki with panko coating was a hit too. Fried food never gets old! Read more

Portions are a good size. The chicken was nice and crispy. I ordered the red carbonara udon, which I love.

Good place to stop by for lunch before shopping. We ordered carbonara loin, katsuya original loin, and karaage as a... appetizer. Food was served little less than 15min. and staff was friendly. Portion is okay but it wasn't good as I expected. Itwas average. Chicken karaage is below average we didn't eve had half of it. I'd like to try something else next time. Read more

I love Katsuya (I've been to every location around Toronto now lol) and the food is always amazing. Granted, I just get the... terimayo katsu because the other sauces use peanuts in it, but I don't mind. I noticed the prices have been raised significantly(about $4 more for the pork cutlet compared to when they first opened?) and you no longer get unlimited refills on the sides. But one portion is so big anyway I don't see how anyone could eat unlimited sides anyway. The service was also really good, especially from one older lady. She was SO cheerful, attentive, and overall just so nice. Every time she came to our table Inoticed I was smiling when she left lol. Also note this location is a bit smaller and due to Covid restrictions there are evenfewer seats than normal Read more

Ordered a Traditional Pork Katsuya and Carbonara Chicken Katsuya - not as good as expected. Chicken and Pork both are too dry... and not juicy. Sauce are good, but I would expect more for such price. Read more
