Note: google maps pin is incorrect! The shop is on the other side of the building by the parking lot. Fish is fresh and taste... is consistent with the other poke guys locations! Happy to see a location open up closer to home for us. A couple of things:portion size depends on which employee you get to make your bowl (good luck), the avocado was really unripe for us (also goodluck). Overall good place to satisfy a poke craving! Wow I can't believe Poke Guys opened up in the condominium I lived in 3 years ago. There were no restaurants opened here until... now and I wish they were opened during the two years I lived in there. I am a huge fan of poke bowls! I ordered the Vegetarianclassic shoyu tofu for myself and built a bowl for my boyfriend with half-&-half base of cauliflower rice and brown rice andhalf-&-half spicy tuna and spicy salmon. The half-&-half base was just the right amount if you didn't want too much carbs. Theprotein were cooked and made very well. The bowls' entirety was very fresh and tasty and the regular sized was more thanenough. The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating with my vegan diet as well as photo taking of my bowls andrestaurant with good lighting. I really enjoyed meeting Jacky one of the owners who helped create my own Poke Bowl. The staff here is super friendly and very... helpful giving great suggestions. I love the contemporary feeling in a bright and airy space. Very limited seating here withonly 2 tables but there is counter seating available. First I choose white rice for my base and Shoyu Tuna as my protein. Iadded seaweed, cherry tomatoes and green beans. And next unlimited toppings include watermelon radish, crispy onions, seaweed,tempura crunch and a few more. Next I choose for my dressing the classic Shoyu Yuzu Dressing. It was a fun experience. The bowlturned out so colourful and beautiful. I also ordered two bowls from their Signature Menu. I really enjoyed everything in theCali with Classic Shoyu Salmon & Tuna with avo, crab meat, slaw & masago and chose the Wasabi Mayo. If you like spicy salmonthen go for the Mauna Loa with edamame spicy cucumbers, spicy seaweed salad and Masago with the Spicy Aioli. The fish is veryfresh and tasty. Poke Guys is finally open in Vaughan! This is the 3rd location of Poke Guys to open up in the GTA. Known for their healthy and... delicious poke bowls, Poke Guys have been offering a consistently great product with fresh fish, a great assortment of toppingsand your choice of base (white or brown rice or kale salad greens or cauliflower rice; soba noodles are available for additionalcost). The sauces are tasty and there are several options from which one can choose. My go-to signature bowl is the Cali PokeBowl - Classic shoyu salmon and tuna, avocado, crab meat slaw & masago with In-house made marinade (scallions, sesame oil, whiteonions, cucumbers, and shoyu), served with your choice of base. You can also build your own poke bowl. Tony was the staffassisting us and he was friendly and helpful. The store and the washrooms (including wheelchair accessible washroom) are clean.No indoor dining at this time. We really enjoyed the freshness and food quality and quantity of the poke bowls we received. OnNovember 20 they will be offering Buy one, Get one free during their Grand Opening.
