This is a gem in a rural area. Not fine dining white table cloth. This is a place for great casual food. Great tastes, fresh... no pretense. After a day of hiking. Rafting, kayaking, you name it. I really liked this place. I thought the meat in the taco and the shells themselves could have been warmed up vs served cold.... But otherwise it was good. Liked the chips, the tacos and the service was interesting. You don't get waited on you order at thebar, self seat, and then they bring stuff out to you. They stop by often even when busy to see if you are ok. Take plates awayetc. Pretty cool way of handling that. Food came out fairly quickly. It is a nice place to hang out, you don't want to leavebecause it is such an enjoyable experience looking at all the plants and people's dogs. Good times. Will definitely be back andtry something else to find my favorite. Read more
Dog friendly. Genuinely good people working here. Two of us stopped late in the day on July 4th. They let us stay until a... little after closing time, never asked us to leave. Food was really good. Had chips and queso, a kids burger, a really goodwrap. Certainly will be back. Read more

Lucky Dog Enjoy the atmosphere and corn hole Then explorer of the town for some real conversations with locals to get theirinside scoop. A mound of awesome food... and then an empty table. Don't think I need to say more. Price is on the higher side, but after you... eat, you realize it's well worth it. Service was excellent. I am vegetarian, and they had great food for me. Definitelyrecommend. Read more
Great Food. It's a perfect stop when riding the gap trail. Very laid back, the food is up on a chalk board and extensive. The... portions are huge. My favorite is is fish tacos and sweet potatoes fries. Our new thing is to start our kayaking the "Middle" atthe the Lucky Dog" rather then at RamCat. It's an extra 2 miles of pure flat, so it's an O.K workout! Read more
Excellent food! The Thai Hard burger was just what I needed after my bike ride. My husband?s loved his fish tacos too!
