My spouse ordered a chicken dinner and I ordered pulled pork dinner. The chicken tasted good. The Cole slaw was ok but did not... taste homemade. The Cole slaw tasted like it was premade out of a jar. The fruit option was not fresh, if was canned fruit. Mypulled pork was awful. I don't think it was made fresh there, it tasted like Lloyd's pulled pork that can be purchased atstores. I don't know if it was Lloyd's or not, but it tasted similar. Salt potatoes were fine. No ribs were available and nobaked beans were available. Picnic tables were available outside to eat there, but the picnic tables were in sight of all emptyboxes and garbage in the back. Read more
Excellent food!! We love their chicken dinners. The icecream is a bonus. Never have to wait very long.
This was a great stop for lunch while traveling. The food was ready fast and the portions sizes were huge so you definitely get... your money's worth (my wife couldnt even finish). We got the pulled pork dinner with coleslaw and macaroni salad, and it was alldelicious. The rolls were soft and fresh as well. There is covered and open outdoor seating to choose from. Definitely worth avisit. Just a heads up for travelers there is not a public bathroom. Read more
Stopped here because I was working in the area had some great chicken cooked over charcoal. I'm sure they do sell out in the... evening (as one reviewer said) because it's that good but like most businesses that want to make a profit they can't havesomething that takes hours to cook right up till closing. So call ahead or order it then you wont miss out. Worth the trip thereicecream is really good also super creamy. Thanks for the great lunch! Read more
Everything is perfect.... Chicken cooked just right and the macaroni salad is omg yummy with the vinegar sauce mixed in it....... Always get extra vinegar sauce in with your chicken and let it soak it in, soooo good Read more
