Thos place is solid. I have never had a bad meal and what they lack in pizazz they make up in real food and a decent atmosphere... to shovel pasta or pizza down. The open kitchen is a good way to see the wood fire magic and i think my favorite part. I alwaysget stuff i know will be in that oven. It's the same 5 or 6 people working i feel and 2 waitresses most of the time so don't goin if you want fast. Nothing fake in this place so just be real about what you like and then watch it happen! This place has really went down hill. The chef has changed I guess he?s family. The food does not taste the same and I could not... even place an order to go as they didn?t know how to bill it. Would come here weekly with coworkers during the off season butwon?t be back. They have also removed items from the menu and the table behind me could not get the food they wanted. Findsomeplace more customer focused even McDonald?s might be better service at this point. Read more

Very nice and very friendly staff and service. The cheese sticks are very good with the sauce on the side. The side salad was... good and the pizza was very good and hot when we got it served to us. If I am not mistaken I think it was a wood fired oven thatthey use for the pizzas and I plan on going back again sometime soon. Stop in and check it out for yourself. Read more

I have been here several times and it?s always been great. I always order the Asiago chicken. I went back today and they... prepared it the worst I?ve ever had it. I?m pretty sure the chicken was boiled then microwaved. There was hardly any sauce. Just nothing like the place used to be. I?ll never go back. When we paid I guess they don?t even bother asking how everythingwas. Clearly they don?t care! Read more

What a great surprise! New to the area and tried the Italian Oven. Fantastic food and even better service from Robin. I have a... strict diet I need to follow...no tomatoes, no onion, no vinegar, no,no,no,no. I told Robin my restrictions and asked if I couldhave the cheese ravioli with no sauce, no garlic, just oil. My wife said pesto would be okay for me. Robin ran with it andtalked to the chef. I got bread w/o garlic, salad w/a mild dressing. The ravioli was beautifully prepared and totally delicious. My stomach, that has been getting used to tasteless, bland food for several months, was in seventh heaven. The serving wasgenerous. My wife had the steak hogie, I think, and she said her sandwich was great. She was only going to eat half and bringhalf home, but it didn't work out that way. Robin was back to check on us just enough, w/o being overbearing. We will beinggoing back for sure. Read more

Decent place.. if it was closer to the city I would have given it a 1/5 rating, but since it?s one of the best dinner options in... the Dawson area it deserves a 2/5. The pastas were mediocre, the bruschetta came with almost-rotten tomatoes and string cheesewhich was really disappointing! The biggest positive is that the staff was really nice and courteous. Honest opinion... stickto pizza if you?re in the Dawson area.. Read more
