Southern Cross Kitchen was everything I thought it would be and more. I sat at the bar and order chicken and waffles with the... home fries, brussels sprouts with bacon and macaroni and cheese...everything was so good that and I can't wait to go back to trya little more on the menu. Also, had 3 MIMOSAS: flavors of Apple, Passion Fruit and Pomegranate. They were totally worth it. Mybartender was nice and we didn't even know it was FUN FEST DAY, so there was live music and plenty of vendors to entertainoutside. Definitely going back!! Read more

Very nice place to grab some brunch in conshy! The servers are extremely friendly. We started off with some mimosas and for... brunch I had the mac and cheese which was excellent. A lot of variety to choose from. You can’t go wrong with what you pick! Read more

I was really excited to have Southern food! I lived in the South for a long time so I love me some good Southern cooking! The... Shrimp and grits weren't bad, but WHY wouldn't they take off the tail of the shrimp ????????? I had to get my hands dirtypicking through the messy gritty grits to take off the tail! That's 1 reason I gave a 3 ?. Also, I was really excited for thefried green tomato "TOWER" Well, let me say look in the picture ???? two tomatoes doesn't classify as "A TOWER" ???????? AND thetomatoes weren't cooked! They were hard!!! Otherwise, the shrimp and grits had a great flavor! And the beignets were delicious!I would come back again, my constructive criticism is only in hopes that the Cook fixes these things to better things ????????Ifeel this place could be better! I'm actually just going to go ahead and give this place 5 stars, even though I have yet to enjoy the night life there. My... servers really sold it, Brit was training Garrett, and both were very spot on. The food was also very good, well seasoned, largeportions, and not overpriced. Pretty extensive cocktail, liquor and wine list. I am not sure but I think the shrimp and gritshad a giant hush puppy in the middle, and I appreciated that they used stone mill grits. Burger was cooked perfectly and to behonest, if a Steven Starr restaurant offered tots I'd get them. Only thing I'd change would be the large amount of burrata onthe fried green tomatoes. Read more

This place was great! The food was spectacular, not one bad thing to say. You will definitely need a nap after you eat their... food! Lol. It lost a star because my wife’s drinking glass was dirty. It had fresh residue of lipstick on it! Other then that, all good in the hood! Read more

We were there on a Friday evening and they could seat our table of 4 without a reservation which was nice. Craft beer selection... is very good. Service was friendly but very slow (as is pretty typical these days). A couple mistakes were made but the servermade it right which was cool. Everyone said their food was OK but not great. I had the Cobb Salad which was very average.Deviled eggs in there are awesome but not enough of the other stuff... definitely needed way more bacon! Could see giving itanother shot but not at the top of my list. Read more
