1st time here tonight. Fantastic food and service. They had a very large party before we got there and quickly ran out of... chicken, slaw, wings, jalapeño peppers but that was fine. I got the smoked meatloaf and pulled pork and my wife got ribs andbrisket. Was VERY surprised with the meatloaf. It was really good. Pulled pork was good too. I little dry but bbq sauce fixedthat. The ribs were really good and so was the brisket. Also had the baked beans and apple sauce. Overall a great 1st timeexpand we will be beach again. Read more

I will occasionally drive to Converse to eat at Jefferson St. BBQ. I typically will get the meal that has 3 meats and 3 sides... with it. The food is great but I am pretty picky on what I eat too. The restaurant is super clean. The wait staff and serversare very friendly. The food usually comes out to the tables fairly quickly unless it's super busy and packed inside. They have afull bar too, which is great. Read more
What a great find! We were traveling for our kids swim meet and did a quick search to find this restaurant. The service and the... food was excellent. The loaded Bloody Mary was one of the best Bloody Mary's I have ever had. We had a good variety of foodincluding pulled pork, sausage, chicken, and large farmer's salad. The food was spot on.
