We have eaten here a lot. On good days it's good, on bad days it's bad enough to wish you had spent your time and money... elsewhere. This time the quality was offensive for the price, neither my wife's salad nor my pizza was edible enough to finish.We are going to be taking an extended hiatus from Newks. I hope they improve their quality, the recipes are fine. If you do gothere, dine-in; don't risk takeout. Read more

Update June 2021: Was 5/5 now 3/5. Ordered and walked in 1 minute after the time the email said the order would be ready. They... weren't done and there was 1 customer sitting at the tables and nobody else in the store besides the employees. The tables wereunused. They had literally 1 customer. Not a huge deal, but then I find out the tortilla soup had 1 piece of chicken about halfan inch long and nothing else. It had barely any veggies and the tortilla strips were complete mush because of the heat of thesoup. The soup being hot was a good thing, though. Then, they messed up the sandwich. I had them remove one of the condimentsand add another similar one but they only removed the condiment, without adding the other one. They also didn't add the otheringredient I ordered to the sandwich. The employees were just fooling around. Maybe they would get the order right and on timeif they would pay attention while they have orders instead of fooling around. Didn't seem like a lot of sandwich (quantity) forthe price but the flavors are amazing. Very quality ingredients. It's like if you were to choose quality, expensive ingredientsand make it at home. You could taste the flavors of each ingredient individually. The bread was also very good and the sandwichwas warm with toasted bread. I actually prefer both of those and both were a surprise. They don't mention this on the site/app.I think they should mention that as well as the size of sandwiches. If I don't want a side with it maybe I should get a littlemoney off? The ratio of quality to quantity to price is perfect. The cake seemed like a lot of cake for the money and was verysweet. I'm not big on very sweet things but I think most people would love it. I ordered online for curbside the crawfish pepper-jack soup paired with half a chicken bacon club sandwich and a full southwest... shrimp Caesar sandwich with baked lays chips. The meal was wonderful?very tasty, great quality and temperature. The staff wascourteous, had good eye contact and extremely service oriented. Would definitely go back. Read more
The quality of the bread was bad. You could tell the wheat baguette was previously frozen, which I don't mind, but mine I had... could reflect the second rate quality. The presentation of the meals on a pizza pan with a 12x12 paper logo liner on topdevalues the "upper class fast casual" concept this chain is going for. Nothing against this location at all with that concern.The staff was nice upon entering and promptly took my order. The person who brought the meal out was also nice. However, unliketheir main competitor, McAlisters, they didn't offer refills or come by to check or prebuss while I was there. It was clean,which should be it's only been open a month. I would suggest better cleanliness on the window shield that goes around the openkitchen. That's a tough one though as many guest look on and children with their hands that go everywhere. It just gives anunclean vibe to what I'm sure is a very clean kitchen. The quality of the lettuce is supber compared to McAlisters which usesbagged lettuce. I could tell Newks uses fresh lettuce that is hand chopped daily. I would rate their salads, as far apresentation and quality goes, very high. Read more

I had half a sandwich and soup. The sandwich was sweet spicy BBQ, it had an awesome taste. More on the sweet side than spicy... but great taste. The soup was chicken gumbo, had a good taste, needed more spices for me and a thicker consistency, to be likegumbo from Louisiana. That's hard to find. Huge selection of sandwiches and salads.. Next time I want to try a salad! Onceyour food arrives, it is serve yourself drink refills, napkins and table spices. We will go back. Read more
