If you'd ever wandered what BBQ was like in Arkansas, don't. I had high hopes given the sauce selection, however that's where... my disappointment started, and only got worse. The "sliced" brisket was more shaved and I'm positive microwaved bolognaslathered in liquid smoke would have had more flavor. I finally found some semblance of flavor after mixing all six saucestogether which just added to my confusion of how they think serving two, yes two tiny ribs is ok as part of their two meatplate... which really didn't matter as the bush's baked beans stole the show, and that's not supposed to be a compliment, butwhen canned beans are better than your cue something isn't right. ** Quick update, due to owner response... I gave 3 stars outof pity because I know some amount of effort had to go into taking all aspects of flavor out of the meat, except the two littlebites of ribs did show promise, and no I didn't eat it all out of fear it would cause me to pull over midway through my roadtrip from Atlanta to OKC.. I mostly review bbq places , and pretty fairly I believe because I want restaurants to be successful. Read more

My first visit here. I came because of word of mouth. I had the bbq nachos, potato salad, and beans. The only things I like is... the potato salad. It was decent. I didn?t like the nachos. Scanty meat, cold meat, and cheese was ok. Well, I tried but I won?tbe going back. On the flip side, nice customer service. Update: Ms. Emily contacted me about my review and was very apologeticfor my food. Her professionalism and customer service was exceptional. I had no idea that anyone would reach out. I am veryhappy that she gave me another opportunity to try something new. It was exceptionally nice to undue the previous experience. Iwould recommend this establishment. If you are not satisfied, give them a chance while there to make it right. Just tried theribs with glaze, seasoned fries, and fried okra. It was delicious!! I am glad that I was given another opportunity to trysomething new. You will not be disappointed. Real review. Thanks Emily and the Whole Hog family ???? Read more

I used to love coming here. But for near $20.00 I got this and a coke that tastes like sink water ???? I do not believe I will... be back. I figured maybe a little more meat. I understand inflation but dang. And the meat is Luke warm. Read more

Pretty good bbq! The okra was the best restaurant okra I think I?ve ever had, the beans were just okay to me. The ribs were... meaty, smoky, and tasty. The sliced brisket was subpar in my opinion, any time I get thinly sliced brisket I feel a shortcut hasbeen taken. It had okay flavor but was dry, gray, and below average compared to what other restaurants are serving for brisketthese days. I?d eat here again but skip the brisket. Read more

I loved our visit to whole hog Cafe. I got the half rack of ribs with fries and fried okra. It was delicious. I really... enjoyed their dry rub. I think my wife who got the same meal would have preferred the other. I would recommend their ribs. Read more

I give it five stars because I love the bbq, but that is not why I'm making a review. I ordered a pull chicken sandwich per... usual anyway I found a little plastic wrapper in my chicken. Guess a little plastic won't hurt nobody right? Do me a favor cooksand servers check the food as if you were going to eat it. Read more

We have lived in Northwest Arkansas for about 6 years now and have been meaning to try Whole Hog Cafe and just hadn't had the... chance. We were on our way home from Florida this week and wanted to stop and eat lunch since we were almost home. Weintentionally sought out a barbecue place and this one came up in Conway. We stopped to eat and we are SO glad we did. The BBQwas amazing - the pulled pork, the ribs, the chicken, Jalapeño sausage and the burnt ends... YUM! It was all very tasty andthe sides were pretty delicious too - the macaroni & cheese, the fried okra, the Coleslaw, everything was really good! And thesauces to choose from, so many choices!!! And all of them were so good, we ended up buying 2 bottles on our way out! They wereonly $6.99 each so we couldn't pass it up, we bought the Mustard sauce and the spicy sauce mmmmm!! The portions of food werevery nice too - super reasonable for the prices paid really! We got a couple of the 2 meat combos so we could try a fewdifferent things and we had plenty of food and leftovers to take home! The service was really great, everyone was very friendlyand it doesn't seem like a chain! I'd assume the other locations are like this too, very welcoming and friendly and just thereto give a good experience! We can't wait to go back now that we live close to one up in Rogers, we are excited to try it again! Read more
