Several people recommended this restaurant to me, so I finally tried it. I've eaten at hundreds of Mexican restaurants over the... years. Seis Hermanas is ON POINT. Some of the best salsa I've ever had! I don't eat meat or dairy, and everything on the menubesides the guacamole was off limits. I was hesitant about trying out another Mexican restaurant in Conyers, but after eating here twice, I wish I had come in sooner.... The QuesaBirria is one of my new favorite dishes! You get three mini quesadillas stuffed with meat, cheese and veggies. Thereis also a tasty dipping sauce on the side, so it's kind of like a twisted Mexican French dip. The guacamole appetizer comes outin a fried tortilla shell,so you don't have to waste any of the dip, you can eat it all! And the tacos are amazing; I highlyrecommend the shrimp and pulled pork! I ordered 100 chicken wings for a family gathering. I asked for a mix of flavors except for one specific flavor i did not want... at all. I called the morning of since the order was large. They said they would put me on the “schedule” for 6/6:30 .. Theycalled me around 6 asking if i was coming to pick the food up so I was on my way to the store. Once i got to the store my orderwas not done. A worker said about 20 minutes for my order. I decided to leave and later BBQ , 20 Lemon Pepper and 60 hot wings.The wings were very hot , they were unbearable to eat! When I called explaining we got way to many hot wings and we could noteat them, I Was told to call back the next day to speak with a manager. Today I went to the store with more than half of thechicken wings and the manager at first was understanding. One worker consistently insisted that we ate half of them. Excellent Taqueria! Had the carnitas taco, fish taco & camarone salad. Great tastes & great prices! Carnitas were well marinated... and fell apart, super tasty. I was skeptical about the battered fish for the taco, but batter was crispy and thin, the fishfillet was tasty! Took it down in 3 bites. Shrimp salad came with 10 good size shrimps, cooked perfectly, for under 9$. Willdefinitely be back! Plus, they have really good salsas, one is a creamy jalapeño and cilantro topping sauce! We wanted to try a new Mexican restaurant, and I was looking for birria tacos. Of course my teen wanted wings and was... disappointed in their size and there was no regular salsa for the little ones for their chips, which they love, but they enjoyedthe cheese dip as well. I had my first experience at this spot for lunch. A few takeaways! 1.) Salsa is unique but delicious. Definitely a nice twist on... a classic at Mexican restaurants. 2.) The fajita nachos are great. Can’t go wrong with those! 3.) Refills on soft drinks willbe an additional charge. Not sure why they don’t have soft drink machines. They refill with bottled sodas. 4.) Service wassort of slow. Asked for an extra couple of minutes to review the menu and it took about 15-20 minutes for the server to finallyreturn to the table. We were the only customers at the time. They just need to brush up on prioritize customer’s overrefilling napkin dispensers at empty tables! - 4 stars for refill charge and slow service. Read more
