My parents and I have been to Persis several times now. Mom and I have been able to come once for the lunch buffet. We have... always enjoyed the food and atmosphere! We have tried new dishes we haven’t tried before. We have tried another “Indian”restaurant in town… it’s not worth going to in my opinion!!! THIS is the place to go for authentic Indian food! Greatspices!!! Will defiantly be back!!! Read more

The buffet for the weekend is really good. The goat curry was a little undercooked. We also got food for the road. Also, try the... tea if you like. Read more

Have ordered a boneless chicken biriyani, biriyani is good..but no egg. No salan, just a little raita,,. Travelled across... America, had food from so many Indian restaurants.. very few restaurants serve in container like this… even the raita is notenough for 1/4 of this biriyani… owners must consider the price & everything… saying this as a former curry chef…. We tried the lunch buffet on a Friday afternoon. The restaurant was very clean. There were a lot of options on the buffet. I'd... say it was the best Indian Buffet I've ever had. Everything tasted amazing! I will definitely be going back! The butter chickenwas my favorite! Read more

We were visiting Burgess Falls and stopped by for lunch in Cookeville. The Lunch buffet available Thu, Fri & Sat had got 3 veg... items and 3 non veg items, desert and taste and quality is very good along with a decent selection. Surprised to see decentquality indian cuisine food in this area which is hard to find in the Franklin, TN area with much larger Indian community. Thespice level is medium and perfect for the buffet. Absolutely incredible! Stopped in to try this place and I’ve been dreaming about the pakoras since! Hands down the best... pakoras I’ve ever had. I’ve tried pakoras all over the world and these were shockingly good. Crispy, crunchy, spicy littleballs they packed insane flavor. I can’t wait to go back and get more. If I’m looking for something to criticize it wouldbe that these were easily the most expensive pakoras I’ve ever got and the meals are a few dollars above the average priceeven within the area but it’s well worth it!
