Yet another Cookeville restaurant that exceeded my expectations! The staff was very polite and accommodating, the food was a... never-ending cycle of shrimp (and they encouraged ordering more and more)... it's how it ought to be. My husband spent $77.32 on snow crab legs that literally were in pieces and rubbery and my salad was more brown than green with... watery dressing that wasn't even what I ordered. So disappointed and I will not be back. Read more
Ordered a dessert to go. Was supposed to be 2 chocolate pieces of warm cake with ice cream and hot fudge. What I got was 2... pieces of cold cake no ice cream no fudge and no cutlery. When I call back to find out why I paid 20$ for cold cake Alyssa saidthey were about to close and offered me a scoop of ice cream. While this visit was for take out, the General Manager Butch has ran a tight ship for many years with only the most genuinely... friendly and professional staff one can find. In all my time going there, never had a bad food experience in flavor,temperature, thoroughness cooked, or accuracy of order. When dining in, the wait staff are timely and professional in howquickly they get to their tables and check up on them while also making enough time to personable and not treat you are just atransaction. Never have to worry about those drinks getting empty either. There have been few times that I have not called amanager over when leaving to let them know how well of a job the staff have collectively done. If you're looking for somewherein town to have sitdowns that you will each and every one of, this location is probably up your alley. Just remember as withnearly all quality experiences, it is probably gonna cost a little bit more than other options out there, but with everythingelse going on in the world right now sometimes having a quality escape from the world for just even a 30 min period that extracost is more then likely worth it.
