We started right here to celebrate a win with the kids. Always great shakes always great burgers but a few things made this... visit special. No longer waiting at the counter for a server now they have self service kiosks. You can pay cash or card. Onceyour food is ready they will call your name. Our food was hot, fresh and perfect. Floors were Alittle dirty but that's whatcorporate gets for using white tile. Haha. I noticed outside were a few tables and umbrellas, that's nice. Read more
Our drive through experience today (9/8/22) was fairly quick, but the results were less than stellar. In the end, across all 5... of our meals we were missing condiments of any type on 3 burgers, one patty of 2 on a double burger, and an order of fries.Also it seems you guys as an institution have made all the meat patties thinner than they used to be. Let me begin by saying that we have eaten in at and taken food to go from many different Steak n' Shakes in the state that we... call home. We are driving through town on our way to said home. This is the best restaurant experience that we've had. Thedining room is clean and bright. The staff was friendly and everything is well organized. The food itself was the best we'veever had from this chain. We don't know what they do here as opposed to other places, but it was cooked to, seasoned to, andplated to perfection. This steak 'n shake was different than any other I had been too. Obviously with covid, changes were made for efficiency and... customer service. You now place your order on computers, and they call out your order number for you to pick up your food. Theplace was very quiet while we were there, and the food was great. Using the computer to order was easy, and you could customizethe food just the way you want it. What lacked just a tad, was the friendly customer service you expect from a restaurant. I recently got the garlic burger. This was my favorite burger for YEARS. Until recently. I decided to make my first bad review... ever because the past year I have been getting non stop gross garlic burgers. From what I know a garlic burger has a bun that isalmost cooked with the burger patty and then sprinkled with the garlic seasoning. For the past year I?ve been getting a garlicburger with some damn seasoning just sprinkled on tolp of the bun. There is nothing special about this burger now. It use tomake steak and shake stand out.
