Super homey restaurant but taking a star off because it's an older establishment and was a bit run down, washrooms could use a... refresh. Everything else was amazing. Our server was kind, cheery, friendly. Food was delicious. Fish and chips were so yummy.Batter wasn't the thick and doughy kind. Apple and cinnamon pancakes are a must, so funny! Celebrating our 28th wedding Anniversary in Barrie Beach and decided to try Hot Stacks for our first time!! The waitress and... waiter were so helpful and friendly but the food was absolutely delicious!! We ordered the famous pancakes and the waffles too!!This way we could share! The strawberries and whip cream added another level of yumminessssss too!! I loved how the customersengaged with the waitress and waiters as if they were Family!! You can see how much the community loves them and are "regulars"by their smiles, laughter and conversation!! Such a cute family style restaurant to enjoy a wonderful meal! Wow! We walked in close to the place being closed but they were still very accommodating. The food was OUTSTANDING I MEAN... OUTSTANDING!
