My husband and I tried Davannis for the first time on a Friday night because we had a $20 gift card. It was crazy busy. We were... greeted by a kid with hair in his face and blank stares and we could barley understand him. We realize that a lot of youth workhere, but this kid needs some coaching on greeting, smiling, and welcoming customers with a little more personality andassertiveness. But he's a kid so we understand. Lol We were surprised that Davannis wasn't a sit-down type experience. It'smore of a to-go place. Grab your food at the counter. They give you a buzzer when your food is ready and you pick it up at thecounter. Not the worst, just unexpected on our part. Overall, the food was mediocre. The cheese bread was hoagie bread cut inhalf with a little cheese and garlic and not a lot of flavor. Next to no cheese! I wish I took a picture because it was trultdisappointing. I ordered a BBQ Chicken solo which had onions and I hate onions. I couldn't eat it. My husband's meat pizza waspretty good though and the crust was very good if you like a thick flavorful crust...which I do! Although, the pizzas barely hadany cheese and the lack of toppings was truly disappointing. It's not what we expected. We really compare pizzas to our favoritewhich is Chanticlear. I witnessed an episode last night where a guy was irate due to the employees somehow didn't get his orderin after he had been waiting a long time. It's Friday night. They are crazy busy! Mistakes happen. The lady behind the countertook it his cussing and berating like a champ! She was sorry and offered him some free food which he refused, but she was busyand tried her best to expedite his order. Nothing she did/said was making this guy happy, but she handled it so well. Kudos toher! These types of underpaid and underappreciated jobs are our frontline workers and they need to be treated with respect evenwhen they make mistakes. This was our first time buying here. A friend recommended trying their Hoagie. We bought their mac & cheese and Hoagie. Thry... made a mistake and gave us their lasagna instead. So we had to call and reorder. When we arrive the woman at the counter knew myfriend's name right away and apologized for the error. They also gave a $15 coupon off next order. Everytime I order here, they never pay attention to detail. I ask for extra tomatoes and onions on my hoagie, but I end up... getting a total of two tomato slices and maybe 2-3 pieces of onion. Until this gets fixed, this will be the last time I orderfrom this location. Read more

Stopped in and we ordered a build your own calzone, and a hot hoagie. Staff was friendly and the food came out hot and fresh.... Would recommend the white sauce, black pepper and garlic, it was delicious! Read more

Great pizza!!! I'm usually a fan of thin crust but my family loves this kind of crust. Davannis is the only place around that... has the best kind of this crust. We always get pepperoni and onions. Gotta get a side of cheese bread as well.
