Im a regular here but came in tonight and had an amazing experience. My server Christian was very helpful. Food was incredible,... service and drinks were just as good. Definately make it a priority to visit to Natty Bumppos if your'e in Cooperstown ! Youwont regret it ! Read more
Placed an online order. Three out of four liked their meal. Probably not enough to order takeout from again, but generally liked... what they got and ate everything. Two got the pineapple mango shrimp tacos, one- the blackened chicken burrito, and the fourth -the fresh bowl with crispy tofu. Except for the fresh bowl; the portions were decent. The burrito could make a small meal fortwo. The sauces provided with all the dishes were a bit of a mystery. Never figured out what the cream sauces were that camewith the fresh bowl but neither tasted good. Since neither are listed as part of the dish or identified on the menu, I can'ttell you which one's I recommend avoiding. The yucca fries were liked, and the plantains good, the rice wasbland. Unfortunately, the item descriptions don't list everything that's in a dish. Not always a big deal but if you're lactoseintolerant or vegan, the meal description or sauce you see that looks/sounds dairy free is not, so make sure you ask. I've heardthe restaurant is accommodating, so if you have dietary restrictions call and place your order rather than use the online app.Or dine-in, which maybe the better option all around. If you can't already tell, the fresh bowl was the clear loser in thisorder. The amount of tofu in the dish was decent and it was season nicely, but the rest of the "bowl" was mostly iceberglettuce. There was maybe 3/4 of a shot glass size amount of the corn salsa, and rice, and beans. The cheese, which isn't listedon the online order app, came in a melted clump in the corner of the container. Good tacos - had the shrimp ones Got three good size ones (not two like other reviewers, and the spice was evident, the mango... salsa sweet and tangy. The rice is seriously ?minute rice? - which should have at least been real rice for the price. How hardis it for a restaurant to cook up a big vat of real rice for the common side dish? Don?t mind paying for good food, andeverything else was fresh or at least flavored well (black beans had chopped pepper and onions), toppings on the tacos well cutand fresh. Thanks! Read more

It?s always a pleasure finding a new restaurant, especially when it turns out to be a gem. We were seated by the owner who is... very friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was fantastic, sitting on an upstairs deck watching the activity around the BaseballHall of Fame. Our server was very pleasant and fast to take and deliver our order. The beer selection was a nice surprise andserved super cold, and my wife enjoyed a great house margarita. The plantains were a shock, best we?ve ever had. I like that there is finally a restaurant that has Mexican food in Cooperstown. Also, reserving via Google is very convenient.... We were not there during the live music, but that would also be very cool. Now the less good news. The prices seemed a bit highfor what you get, even for this is area (which is usually pricey). My husband was hoping for 3 tacos for the price, and wentaway hungry. He did like the tacos he ordered though, the Mango Shrimp tacos. I got the Natty Tacos and found them to be veryplain.
