I'm writing this review, stuck in the restaurant because I don't wanna leave. I have NEVER had baked chicken like the kind of... chicken I've had here today. When I tell you my mama couldn't have cooked a better chicken, she couldn't. Even I couldn't. Thiswas the most delicious meal I've had all week. The greenbeans were so good I wanted seconds. And I hate brown gravy. But ohhhmyyyyyy goddd. I shoved their mashed potatoes down my throat so fast I almost cried when I realized they were gone. Bestsouthern food I've had in a very long time. Came here to get the catfish and it DID NOT disappoint! 2 piece was really a 4 piece as they were huge! Cooked to perfection,... lightly breaded, seasoned perfectly, fried just right to a delightful light golden brown color! Mac N Cheese and collard Greenswere on point as well. Not what I expected. The collard greens had huge stems and no meat. The ribs had a lot of pepper & seasoning. Only three... pieces? The sweet potatoes tasted well but came out of a can. I honestly want some country BBQ. My husband had the brisketand it was chopped up and not sliced. Really not that great of taste. Read more
