Had a lovely meal here last night. They were close to closing, but accommodated us. They even had to let us in, as the mall... entrances were locked afterhours. The cuts of meat were great and plentiful. The dipping sauce/seasoning on the side wasminimalistic, but perfect. My overall positive experience was bolstered by their stellar service. We ordered the combo b and it was really good. The meat cuts and accompanying dishes were great! We ordered 3 of them and was... more than enough. Also, even though the place was short staffed when we went, the waitress was really attentive and really good.The only thing to point out is that the restaurant is located inside a shopping mall that closes way earlier therefore the staffhas to let you in if you come after hours. I love the atmosphere and look of the place. It offers a lot of seat and some space. Not the a fan of the K-Pop music playing... but it's not that big of a deal The prime AAA beef was fantastic and the price is on the higher end as expected for suchquality. The spicy pork is fine but a bit tricky to cook and little much marinating. The dipping is not too impressive as wellas the side dish but they are free so it's fine. I'll start with the pros because the list is shorter. TL;DR Not enough staff, not enough training, or both. Restaurant not... ready to open at time shown. Cleanliness in question. Taste is OK. Location is good. Pros: located in the mall, parking andaccess are easy. Restaurant is spacious and with plenty of seating. The gopchang (beef small intestines) was tasty. The listends there. Cons: even though the restaurant opened at 11 AM, we arrived at noon and there was no one there to greet us. Servercame running in about 2 min after we arrived, saying he had to go make a quick grocery run for the kitchen, and abruptly left.He then showed up shortly after, and then seated the people who arrived after us first, which was really bizarre. When finallythe male server returned, he took us for a tour of a few tables to sit at but we soon found out none of the tables were actuallywiped down yet and ready to be seated at so we ended up just choosing the cleanest table available that was away from the sun.There was even one table (photo attached) that didn't appear to have been cleaned from the night prior. We had come to ordermakchang (beef lower intestine or rectum) but this was sold out, so we only had a choice of ordering gopchang, which was amazingsince they had just opened for the day and we were the second or third customer. Luckily the gopchang was delicious and we hadsimilar hopes for the cold noodles but they were actually terrible. The server also didn't bring the vinegar refill (for thesoup, because the bottles were empty and nobody had refilled them) and sesame oil (for the meat) until we asked and even thennot until we were almost done eating. Not even once did they come check on us unless bringing food or they were called to thetable. The combo price might seem expensive, but the portion is HUGGGEE. We two people ordered beef combo B. We finished only half. The... food is delicious except for the side dishes so I give only 4 stars. The dessert is 10/10. Great service. Another Korean BBQthat I recommend. Read more
