The service was ok but not the food. I ordered rib eye steak and didn't like the food. The side vegetables was dull with no... seasoning and meat was chewy and not tasteful. It was also strange that you pay 45$ for steak and they still want to charge you50 cents for small cup of Frank's sauce!!! Read more

Food was ok, great fries and vegetables. Steak cooked according to our request. Felt a little expensive. I didn’t enjoy the... bruschetta - was a bit “soggy”. My husband also didn’t think he got a good cut of steak for his $46 Rib Eye. We didn’tknow what the sauce was as part of the Gaucho style so that’s our fault. It was cilantro base so didn’t enjoy that andpushed it off to the side. Overall presentation of the food didn’t impress me. Great service. Read more

My friend and I came for happy hour. We wanted some drinks and some appys! We arrived at 2:30, I ordered stuffed mushrooms and... my friend ordered the Happy H chicken strips. I unfortunately didn’t realize that there was dill in the stuffed mushrooms andthey were kind enough to exchange it for chicken strips instead due to an allergy. The chicken strips were yummy and happy hourprice was good. I couldn’t get over the fact it smelt like shrimp the whole time though. I wonder if the batter/fryer is usedfor both chicken and the seafood. Our sangrias were really good, a bit syrupy for me. But delicious for the happy hourprice. What I was disappointed in was the fact we came for happy hour and they charged us full prices for our sangrias. I’msure it was a mistake and I didn’t wanna say anything because I already felt bad about the stuffed mushrooms. But overallI’m sad they didn’t catch the mistake. The only reason I would come back is for the happy hour drinks ( they are decentlypriced) otherwise the food is just ok. The Resturant is normally pretty empty everytime I have been aswell. I'm glad we choose to try MR Mikes. We love the bites and drinks for happy hour. Then we thought of splitting an order of steak... since it's their specialty. Oh boy, they did not disappoint! We had a great dinner at Mr Mikes in Coquitlam last night. You can’t really see the rib eye steak underneath the Oscar’s... Lobster and Seafood topping, but it was cooked to the perfect temperature (rare) and SO good ?? The cream cheese sauce for thestuffed mushrooms was also delicious.
