I ordered the General Thai Chicken (like I have done dozens of times before at other Thai Express locations) but this time it... was served with frozen chicken nuggets in it! I was so disgusted I returned it and ask for the beef version. That also came withfrozen beef nuggets. Terribly disappointing! Not real Thai! Awful experience at this Thai express. I have visited the ones in Vancouver and Burnaby several times and I love going there,... but this one is just awful. The food quality was just cheap, tons of sauce to cover the cheap flavor and poorly preppedingredients. The chicken used look like Walmart chicken nuggets. Why such a huge difference from the other restaurants? Theprice was also higher, staff was slow and couldn't understand my order. Save your money and go elsewhere, anything is betterthan this. Love the Pad Thai here. Based on my taste, it is the best I've tried and is a regular customer of this place. Howeve, today I... got my Pad Thai cooked by a nice new female cook but the food is not the same to me it is much too sweet and too saucy for mebut people who don't mind the sweetness and sauce will most likely enjoy it. Sadly I have to give what was once my favorite food place in the mall a one star rating. There is new owners from the last time... I was here. That would be fine so long as they followed the proper recipies. I ordered what I always order, the general Thaichicken. What stuck out right away was the breaded chickens were half the size as usual and perfectly "round" ? The dish wasmissing tomato and red peppers. It has peas in it (which it never does) and only tiny pieces of pineapple and green/yellowpeppers. The sauce was roughly half the amount as usual and was "off" .
