Happy hour was happy with beer, nachos, calamari, wings, great burgers (recommended). We were disappointed to find there... were no oysters we have been looking forward to as we saw on the menu. We had a great evening and enjoyed the foodregardless. We were celebrating 2 birthdays. The slices of cheesecake for the birthday girls were a sweet touch. Thank youJennifer. Keep up the good work. Thanks for adding to making an enjoyable and relaxed evening. Best wishes to you. Irecall it was even nicer once we dined in and there was live entertainment. It may be only weekends... will need to find outfor next time. Read more

This place is absolutely a hidden gem with thoughtful and attentive staff, live music, and AMAZING food! I made reservations... online for my partner and I to celebrate her getting a new job, and added a note there about the occasion. Jennifer, ourfriendly and hilarious server, greeted us immediately with a congratulations and when we ordered dessert it came all decked outwith a candle in it! Coupled with The Allegro Music Trio rocking out and taking our requests, it was the perfect evening! Read more

I took my Mom out for Birthday Brunch and we absolutely loved it. We were greeted and seated right away and the options for... brunch were worth the price. I even loaded up on some deserts. There’s not a lot of good brunch spots in the area (especiallynot buffet style) and I wanted something that felt more special than the pub. This might just be our new Birthday brunch spot ! Came again for the regular menu. Tried the New York Strip served on a hotplate. It was a fusion style food, with a Japanese... sauce. It was delicious. It was super hot this time. Price was very reasonable and service was good aswell. -------------- Came here for the Dineout menu. Food was good in general. If it could be a tad hotter, especially thesoup, it would even better. Service was excellent. Would definitely repeat, especially the happy hour menu. Entrance through thehotel lobby. Use the hotel parking where you can register in the hotel front desk without paying. This was a fairly disappointing experience for the price point. The focus is unfortunately on presentation over quality. My... seafood pasta had 16 mussel and clam shells around the plate and deep within the pasta while covered in sauce. There is nological reason to serve food this way as I had to use my hands to take the meat out of the shell to enjoy pasta and furthermorepiece of the shell wound up scattered in the pasta. My partner ordered a rare steak but it is server in copious amounts of sauceon a cast iron hot plate.... so it was well-done by the time it got to our table. The presentation is 10/10 but the actualfunctionality and taste of the meal was an absolute miss. When you're paying $35+ a plate that is an unacceptable ratio. Thelive entertainment had no sound check person as the wildly mediocre band drowned out any chance of conversation. The drinks, however, were very well crafted. Lots of fresh fruit, wonderful flavor mixture. I would recommend this for a quick bar drinkbefore going to dinner elsewhere. The saving grace to our experience was the server. She was wonderful and had a greatpersonality, really added some flair to the otherwise very poor experience. Cannot recommend this as a restaurant in anycapacity but the staff and drinks were good. my family and I ate here because we were staying at the executive plaza hotel. we arrived at 8:15 and were informed they were... closing at 8:30 but the chef said we could come in, so we did. our waitress was very nice. I ordered the calamari for an appyand it was the best I've ever had. my brother and I had the chicken cordon with veg and potatoes, it was pretty good. my dad hada steak and he said it had no flavor and my mom ordered the ribs (that she didn't eat) and she said they were bland and cold.the waitress took my mom's meal off the bill which was nice. for the food being so expensive, I don't think the quality wasthere. giving 2 stars because of the tasty calamari and the waitress being nice. wouldn't eat here again though Read more

We decided to try the dine out experience at this place and it happened to be a live performance on that night. It was... definitely an EXPERIENCE! I believe the band was called The Coco Project? The female lead was belting out vocals soeffortlessly. We were mind blown. Awesome performance, good food, and good service. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND TO DINE IN WHEN THEBAND IS PLAYING! Read more

Had the pleasure of taking my parents here to celebrate mum's birthday tonight and we had a lovely dinner. Parking was easy and... since it was underground and had direct walking access from parking to the Wild Fig Restaurant we didn't have to walk out in thecold. You write your license plate down at the front desk inside and can park for free when dining at the restaurant. Theseating environment was grand and peaceful and we were seated by the fireplace. We were served by a very kind and thoughtfulgentleman named Isham, who also prepared our fruity and delicious mocktails! We learned also that we had visited after a twoyear closure and recent reopening just on December 1 with a new chef, Paolo, and an updated menu. We had been here before andenjoyed the food, service, and seating environment and can say we left happy once again! I particularly enjoyed the tasty beetsin my colourful 'wild fig salad', and the aromatically roasted brussel sprouts and creamy mashed potatoes in my lamb shank. Theshoestring fries were also a big hit with both me and the parents and were fried to perfection. The curb to a French fry cravingwe needed! Thank you to the staff who wished mum a happy birthday, prepared a little birthday dessert and sang to her withenthusiasm as well! I captured a beautiful moment of her big surprised smile for years to cherish but to her wishes agreed toblur out her face in the photo to respect her privacy ????. Thanks Wild Fig and those who helped make tonight a special birthdayfor mum and an enjoyable evening for us. ???? Read more
