The baguettes used to be nice and crunchy not too long ago, now they're completely soft, almost a rubbery crust (if you can call... it a crust). Customer service not great either, kind of rude the last time I went when I pointed out that they took down myorder incorrectly. I'd be ok with paying a little more for good quality bread. We remember going to the original on Miami Beach regularly when we were younger and it wasn?t as much of a hassle to get out... there. We have moved from MIA many years ago, but comeback to visit family regularly. Hearing they now had a gables location, wewill happily put this back on our regular rotation when we?re here. The sandwich I ordered tasted off, and the ingredients did not taste fresh, especially the tuna/mayo mix which I mentioned to... the server. Did not eat my full sandwich and returned the other half - the server did not seem to care or offer any remedy. Shame, but I will not be returning to that location anymore. I think the staff needs to be trained better to make bettersandwiches and customer service in this location. Read more
Delicious and very well served sandwich! I had the signature Italian and hubby got the salmon croq (but on a baguette).
One of my all time favorite sandwich shops. I only get it once a year so it's a very special treat that never let's me down. The... Napoli (prosciutto & fresh mozzarella) is my go to with all the salad fixings. I've always had great service and the freshest offood and bread. I am glad they have spread out and are in more than one or two locations now so I don't have to fight Sobetraffic. The dressing is out of this world and is worth grabbing a bottle to take home. The server charged another customer, took cash with the gloves, then went to do my sandwich without washing hands and change of... gloves. Not a safe place to ear since they don?t follow sanitation rules. I told the guy to change gloves and re-do my sandwich.But just wanted to get my money back and leave the place when I saw that action. However, the place is very cute and thepresentation of sandwiches too. But i would not recommend it. Read more
They don?t use sauces so the sandwiches are very dry. I asked for Mayo but they didn?t put it on. I asked for Mayo and they... gave me a Mayo packet which didn?t taste good. Some sort of sauce or jam could have made the turkey and Brie delicious but theyjust missed the mark. We sat at the counter and weren?t even acknowledged until we asked if someone could take our order. Iwouldn?t go back. Read more
